Having never owned a Toyota, I was clueless as to how the vehicle would perform or even if I would be comfortable driving it. We have a Toyota dealership twenty minutes from us. We went there once to look at cars and it was a horrible experience. They have no cars in the showroom. I looked in the Yellow Pages and found Handy's. We drove up to St. Alban's on a rainy Saturday. As soon as we walked in, we knew we had to come to the right place. They had cars inside. One of our concerns was which model my 6'4" husband would fit in. He tried a Corolla and had plenty of head and leg room. Tom told us what came standard on the Corolla and he and my husband talked about car stuff while I decided what color I wanted. We saw the finance guy and he went over everything, did a credit check and we signed on several dotted lines. The following Monday we picked up our brand new Barcelona Red Corolla. The service was again excellent. We got a packet full of papers and keys for the car and signed more papers. Once the business stuff was over, I drove my new car home. My husband and I have a long standing tradition. The new car is always mine. He gets the old car. Handy's was what a dealership should be. I remember car shopping with my dad 50+ years ago and I felt like I had gone back to those times. It's nice to know that there are still places where customers are treated like people. Everyone was friendly and seemed genuinely happy for us when we picked up our new car. My husband plans to go to Handy's for all maintenance on the car. He said the people make the drive worth it. Adam, was very helpful and curtious through the whole vechicle sales I would recommend the dealership to family and friends. During the delivery when he was going over the vechicle he notice that the eng vechicle sales I would recommend the dealership to family and friends.
