Good afternoon Neo, I read your review of your recent service. I was the one who helped you, not Ginny or Scott. Your car was towed in on 6/9/23 as it was not drivable. The key would not turn in the ignition. We explained that with no appointment that we would get it in the shop as quickly as we could. The car was looked at on 6/14/23. We diagnosed it as needing the ignition lock and cylinder. I called and left a message with the quote and explained that the parts would take 2 weeks to get. You called back and gave us authorization for the repairs. The parts were ordered and they came in at the 2 week mark and the car was finished on 6/29/23. I did give you my number and you called and left me the ok to do the work. You never left me any other messages after that. Our loaner cars are on a first come basis. Scheduled appointments with a loaner get a loaner first. If I have any unused loaners then those become available to those that need them. This was explained to you. If we had an extra loaner , you were more than welcome to it. When your car was complete, we drove it for the first time. We noted the left front tire was at 2/32 and it had a bubble in the side wall. We noted the steering wheel was off center to the left as well. This is all listed on your copy of the invoice. The steering wheel was installed with the front wheels being straight, as per the VW repair manual. The wear on the tire indicates that the alignment has been off for a while. The other tires do not show that kind of wear. You were advised that the car would need a new tire and alignment. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please contact me.
