I am a bit upset. I had recently had my Golf in for two days to have the 90K service and to check the rear bearings. I had also asked to have the wiper blades replac I had recently had my Golf in for two days to have the 90K service and to check the rear bearings. I had also asked to have the wiper blades replaced when I brought the car in. The bearings were ok and the problem was diagnosed as an alignment issue and I had to buy 4 new tires even though the old ones were only about 2-3 years old with only about 20,000 miles. I don't know what happened in the last year to cause the alignment issue since there was no mention of it during the last service in February when everything was fine. The blades were not replaced although there was a note on the inspection sheet that they should be replaced. Today I have received an email recommending that the rear wiper blade be replaced and that the brake fluid be flushed. Why wasn't this done while I had it in for two days of service? I am very reluctant to drive another 20 miles back to Hamilton to have this work done. There was no mention on the receipt about the brake system needing to be flushed so I'm really puzzled about that one. The work that was done, I am very satisfied with. The technician did excellent work. I'm glad that I was given a loaner car but would have preferred something smaller than an Atlas. Since it was the only loaner available, even though I reserved this a month ago, I guess I shouldn't complain too much. More
