Far And Away The Best Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had I'd been putting off buying a new car for almost 2 years. Every time I thought about it I would cringe at the idea of dealing with yet another lame, I'd been putting off buying a new car for almost 2 years. Every time I thought about it I would cringe at the idea of dealing with yet another lame, protracted car sales process. Fortunately, when I finally decided to buy, I worked with Steve Denson. Not only did he take away all the pain, it was actually a pleasant experience. The sale was completed in just over 2 hours on a very busy weekend. A very nice surprise. He made sure that we knew the differences between each model that we looked at. We had to search extensively for the model and color I wanted and he had no problem helping find what I wanted. He was very honest about our purchase price and very helpful through the whole transaction. There is no doubt this was the most hassle- free buying experience ever. BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER! I hate the car buying process! The anxiety, the stress, the negotiating, the money, the terms. It's all overwhelming, At least it was until I found St I hate the car buying process! The anxiety, the stress, the negotiating, the money, the terms. It's all overwhelming, At least it was until I found Steve Denson at Hamer Toyota. My old Hyundai Tucson had served me well, but it was time to make an upgrade. My main goal was to find something with better gas mileage while still maintaining the comfort and flexibility of my old crossover. I had visited several other dealerships looking for just the right car and had immediately felt the pressure and sleaze that we all hate when buying a new vehicle. I continued to do my research and found a pre-owned Prius at Hamer Toyota. I called Steve and made an appointment to see the car. From the moment I met him he was genuine, pleasant, listened to me and offered information when I asked for it. Not once did I feel pressure or sleaze. We test drove the Prius and I wasn't sure it was right for me. But I new I needed something. As we walked back to the office we passed a Rav4 and I thought, "why not take it for a spin?" We took it out and I fell in love with it. When I asked Steve if we could take the Prius back out for a final drive to make sure that it wasn't what I wanted, he was extremely accommodating and nice. I played with the idea of having Hamer install leather seats in the Prius, but something about the new body style of the Rav4 had me. The money side of the transaction was easy and I felt like Steve really wanted to work with me. In the end the deal was great and the service was even better. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone that asks about buying a new or used car. Thanks to Steve and Hamer Toyota I have many years of happy driving ahead! More
Finally a Car Sales Person Who Gets Me I had contacted dealers all over Southern California to see about getting a lease on a new Prius. My current lease was expiring and I was looking to I had contacted dealers all over Southern California to see about getting a lease on a new Prius. My current lease was expiring and I was looking to swap out for a new one. I work a lot, so I emailed dealerships to get some basic price quotes so that I could find something within my budget. Most refused to send anything via email and asked me to come in. On the occasions that I did make it into the dealers, I was put through the hard sell even though the pricing was clearly not within the budget I had specified in the email. It was miserable. Enter Steve (with an assist to Costco). I was connected to Steve through the Costco car buying program. I gave him (and his assistant Bianca) some info about what was looking for and they called back immediately with some options. When I went to the dealer, rather than haggle or draw it out, Steve immediately asked what my goal was. I told him, and within 15 minutes, he had a car for me, at the price I wanted, with a swap out for my lease that was ending. The entire process took a little more than an hour. Steve was straightforward, clear, and didn't try to pressure me at any point. More
