We loved the fact that we never felt pressured into buying from him (a very rare attribute from a man who specializes in sales). He was funny, professional and personable which made our communication extremely pleasant. 10 out of 10 stars for Steve, the Toyota man. The dealership was a different story. I literally paid a $38k vehicle CASH and got no discounts, perks or freebies? What the flip is Hamer thinking? Not even a freaking bottle of water or a donut! Ridiculous. Call me old school but I miss the old days when dealerships would provide snacks, food and drinks to everyone regardless of the times or if you bought or not. It really annoyed me that Hamer doesn't even provide water bottles. Talk about stinginess. Gentleman in the financing department has an attitude. Train him to give out better customers service. Overall top marks for Steve, best salesman I've ever interacted with, but Hamer can do some improvements in customer service , especially to customers paying a car in full like us. More
