Steve Slaven and CB Toyota went above and beyond I have purchased several vehicles from CB Toyota over in the past. Most recently, I was looking to trade in my Camry for a Tacoma. Having purchased I have purchased several vehicles from CB Toyota over in the past. Most recently, I was looking to trade in my Camry for a Tacoma. Having purchased the Camry at Checkered Flag, I was aware of their "no-haggle" pricing. Their prices on the 17 Tacomas were pretty good considering most dealers claim to have little room or incentive to deeply discount such a popular vehicle. I preferred purchasing at Charles Barker, however, since it is more convenient to my house for service. Early summer I went by to take an early look at the Tacomas and met Steven Slaven. He was super helpful at the time, and even though I had told him I was simply looking but not ready to purchase yet, answered all of my questions. Throughout the summer, I did not get a single annoying or harassing phone call, email or other correspondence - anyone who has initiated communication with a salesman at most dealerships knows well that you will be hounded by the salesman for a significant period of time after that initial meeting. That alone was extremely refreshing. In September, I got back in contact with Steven and told him I was about ready to go on a Tacoma. He made me an appointment, and took me on a test drive. I was very particular about the specific model and options that I wanted, and, being the end of the model year, stock was very limited across all dealerships. To make a long story somewhat shorter, Steven located me the specific truck that I wanted at a dealer out of state, and coordinated a complex trade of vehicles to be able to get the truck here. On top of that, he agreed to beat Checkered Flag's "no-haggle" price, and further gave me essentially what I might have had to settle for my Camry if I had sold it myself. Out of all the vehicles I have purchased or leased, this was, top to bottom, the best experience I have had, and the only one that I have felt compelled to leave a review for. Steven is a great dude and I would highly recommend him. More

Car salesmen can get a bad rap because they can be pushy and insist that you buy immediately. Also they try to direct you to the top model with the most bells and whistles. This is not the case with Ray. He carefully asked what we wanted in a vehicle and never pushed us to buy more than we needed. It was a pleasure to work with him. I was happy with the trade in amount of my vehicle. Shawonda Massenburg did a good job with our financing and explaining extended warranty, etc. There was a slight discount on these services. I would have been happier if the price was less. I would have been happier overall if the sales price of the vehicle was lower and if my vehicle came with a second set of floor mats. We have all season mats in the vehicle, but I will have to purchase the regular carpet style. More
