Best Car Buying Experience EVER !! We found a car online @ Hall Honda.com. We filled out the online form and received calls from 2 of Hall's employee's within minutes of our inquiry. We found a car online @ Hall Honda.com. We filled out the online form and received calls from 2 of Hall's employee's within minutes of our inquiry. We set an appt. to see the car the next day. We were greeted immediately upon our arrival by staff who found Ian Boer our sales rep. We cannot say enough about how incredible Ian was. He blew us out of the water by his knowledge of the CR V & Honda's products, warranties, service & everything in between. His expertise & enthusiasm was amazing. It was hands down the best car buying experience we have ever had. This is our 6th Honda & when we're ready for #7, we'll drive back to Virginia Beach (we live in Midlothian, VA) to see Ian. not a quick oil change I came into this Honda dealer for an oil change I scheduled online and light bulb change inside my car. I had an appointment set for 8:30 am and said I came into this Honda dealer for an oil change I scheduled online and light bulb change inside my car. I had an appointment set for 8:30 am and said I would wait for my vehicle. I asked the service attendant how long this should take and he said no more than an hour to an hour and a half at the LATEST. After about two hours, I went to ask how much longer they believed my car would take as it had already been well over the anticipated time frame and I needed to be getting to work. Although I did think it was really odd that I had scheduled an appointment, but had seen several other people leave the waiting room that had come in after me, I didn't act angry or rude. I just asked an attendant walking by for an update. The very attendant that signed me in and had given me the time frame rudely told me that I wasn't the only person they were accommodating and he had told me it would be an hour and a half to two hours. I promptly reminded him that he had actually said no more than an hour and a half , and I only had that expectation of time because he provided it to me. It was at this point that a sales person came to ask me did I want to look at new cars while I waited. I agreed because I'd already been there so long, Why not? Before leaving with the sales person, I asked the attendant could he ask service to forget about my bulb if that was going to take longer. He replied (without checking) that they already had begun on my car so it would be better to keep the ticket as it was. After an additional forty-five minutes passed with NO UPDATE, I finally asked the sales person could he check on my car. He came back to tell me my car had another 35-40 minutes wait so I had time to go view more cars with him. It was at that point I express the fact that I was no longer in the mood to discuss new cars as I was extremely dissatisfied with the fact that I had now been there for about 3 hours. He quickly went over to service and apologetically came back agreeing to give me the oil change at no charge. The sales man was also accompanied by the original attendant who's previously bothered demeanor had changed completely. The original attendant returned with an now truthful update that service had not even BEGUN my oil change/ bulb change, but now would be working on my car. Needless to say I left Hall Honda 4 hours later with the same blown out bulb with which I'd arrived. The moral of the story is appointments mean nothing and I will most certainly never be returning for any service at the Hall Honda of Virginia Beach. More

Very Nice Experience I haven't purchased a vehicle in over 14 years. I was looking for a used Honda that I could put my confidence in for my son who lives out of state. I I haven't purchased a vehicle in over 14 years. I was looking for a used Honda that I could put my confidence in for my son who lives out of state. I found what I was looking for online at Hall and sent a request to gather more information on the car. I was contacted by Ian Baer the following morning and set up an appointment to see the car. Although the car was "out back" in there vast inventory of used cars, it was promptly brought out and freshened up. The car hadn't even been through their shop yet, but was very quickly made "showable". Ian is very knowledable in all things Honda. He had everything ready when I got there, all the way down to the CarFax for my review. I didn't feel any undue pressure from anyone that I spoke to at Hall and they made every effort to make sure that I walked away within my budget for purchase. I was actually quite shocked that they came all the way down to fit my budget. I hear many stories from friends and family about horrible car buying experiences. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience at Hall Honda. I think I have found a dealership where I can feel confident to make future purchases. More
