Service department is POOR. We have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra with only 58,000 miles with a automatic transmission that was starting to run rough. When stopped it would race into gears or slip. We took it in to the service department and they said to get a coolant flush and transmission flush. We did and the problem didn't go away. Then they told us that Firestone didn't put in the correct transmission flush which is a load of BS. It all comes down to they didn't' want to fix the problem and guarantee our warranty. We then took it to Priority Hyundai in Chesapeake Va. They helped us right away. Put in a new transmission and gave us a loaner car. I will never take my car or truck to Hall Ford Hyundai again. They are rude to their customers and do not know what they are doing. They could have easily fixed this problem. More
Had been looking around for a few weeks for a used (new to me) auto. When the preliminary paperwork was completed I was introduced to Steve and Toney from the F&I department. Once again, they went above and beyond to get us the best finance rate and were not pushy. Furthermore, they all brought to our attention additonal incentives that were available to us that we were unaware of. After a brief presentation and explanation of the extended service plan and paint protection products it was time to sign the dotted line. When I specifed that we weren't interested in the extra services, they valued my decision and we sealed the deal. More
Why a "Five"?? Because they EARNED it! I am not an easy sale. My 2008 F-150 was/is a great truck, so "browsing" for a new truck, buying was not a priority. However, Ford's commitment to improvement, the fact that I was considering a 4X4, and knowing about the new designed engine platforms, I decided to have a look. Jamie and Todd had to WORK to get me to purchase. Giving up a 50K miles, 20+mpg around town truck was not going to be easy. So both of these people met my demands. They searched out and found what I was looking for. Had it delivered, and made the changes--I hate "bling" so they removed the chrome "trinkets"--accepted my conditions, and remained pleasant throughout the event. I am now the pleased, proud owner of a 2011 F-150 STX, 4X4, with the twin overhead cam, 5.0 engine. With the dealer added Tonneau cover, on my recent trip to Montebello, Va. and then on to Boone NC. and back to Hertford, NC. I averaged 20+ mpg. And that includes some of the four wheel drive dirt mountain roads I drove while hunting in Virginia. I did the speed limit on the highway, 55, 60 and 70 with absolutely no trouble. Bottom line: Fantastic Truck, tremendous people at the dealership, and averall, a completely wonderful experience. Looking to buy a quality vehicle, from a quality dealership? Stop looking! Go. We almost did not go to Hall Ford because of the bad reviews we saw on the website, but we decided to give them a chance an it was worth it.
