Before purching car people were friendly. Mr. Bright assured me that previous owner had 2nd remote to car and apoligized for not bringing remote but would drop it off. This turned out to be untrue. When I wrote a letter I asked for key to be replaced. When I stated key I meant entire key parts (remote and all). If I have a 2nd key and loose the remote there is no way to start car. If Mr. Bright had been truthful about 2nd key I would not have purchased this vehicle. Even though it is a used car, it seems that pleasing the customer would be a priority but it turns out that does not matter. Any business should be appreciated, whether one purchases used or new. Kathy Varrichio is stating Bernard Bright never told me this. Why would I continue to call him and even sent him an email if this were not true. One hears how sales people are not to be trusted and I will never do business with this dealership and especially the above mentioned people. The fair thing to do would be to replace the entire remote. The cost can be taken out of Bernard Bright's salary. More
Well, this was an experience. We actually called the number on the website and spoke to a gentlemen to make an appt. The day of the appt., I received a call from Mark Self (New Car Sales Mgr) and he was number on the website and spoke to a gentlemen to make an appt. The day of the appt., I received a call from Mark Self (New Car Sales Mgr) and he was so kind :) We went to the dealership and was greeted so warmly by Mark Self and Mark Stonis. These two gentlemen were top notch and so very professional. We had some decisions to make and they both did not pressure us at all but made us feel like family...seriously! They helped us so much get the car that was just right for our family and we got a great deal. The price is so very affordable and we were just so pleased. I have a history with my father being a mgr in the car business and I had some idea what to expect;however, these two men met those expectations & actually went above and beyond to help our family. We also recieved a follow-up letter from Mark Stonis which was very personal to us and we greatly appreciated that. We look forward to working with Hall Acura in the future! Furthermore, we give this dealership the "Outstanding" rating because they are first class people and will go to great lengths to help their customers :) Thank you :) More
I met with Mark Stonis when I my prior lease was coming to an end. I was not sure which car I would want, the TSX or TL, and Mark hooked me up quickly with test driving both. I also dealt with the other Acura dealer in the area to get the best price as I was using USAA's car buying system pricing. Both dealerships said the would honor USAA's pricing, and I was honest with both of them with that was going on, but the day before buying my Acura, Mark called me and said he could take $300 off the USAA price. I told this to the other dealer, who balked at it, and waited to the very last minute (as I was pulling into Hall to buy the car) to match it and try to beat it. I was done. I told Mark by phone prior to coming in that I would like to enjoy my Saturday, so he ran my credit, got 3 cars that he thought I would like lined up, and got the paperwork ready to go by the time I showed up at the dealership. He actually brought out a different color of car than what I told him I wanted and put it side by side with what I told him I wanted so that I could compare, and I took what he brought out and I'm very appreciative of that because I didn't see the difference until they were side by side. I was in and out the door in under 2 hours. It was a great buying experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Mark Stonis and Hall Acura to everyone. More
We went to the Acura dealership to end our lease 5 months early. Mark Stonis met us and immediately went to work. We were able to get out of our lease penalty free and purchase our new Acura. I used the website TrueCar.com (which everyone should use when purchasing a new car, as it has certified prices) and ultimately saved over $5,000 off of the sticker price. I was afraid that Mark would be upset when I handed him the TrueCar price certificate (which was a guaranteed price, no haggling!), but he was the ultimate professional. Hall Acura has top notch customer service. Highly recommended. Mark took an interest in what we wanted and listened to what we had to say. He even mailed me a hand-written note thanking me for my purchase. Thanks to TrueCar and Mark Stonis, this was the easiest car purchase I have ever made. More

I talked to every dealership in Virginia in my attempt to secure a 2010 MDX in Dark Cherry Pearl with the Tech Package. Mark Self was the only Sales Rep that promised to secure the SUV with my specified opti secure a 2010 MDX in Dark Cherry Pearl with the Tech Package. Mark Self was the only Sales Rep that promised to secure the SUV with my specified options and at agreed upon price point within 2weeks as I am 9months pregnant; all other dealerships were quoting the end of May or beginning of June and were having problems securing the color that I requested. Mark answered all of my questions and followed up with me from the time of my deposit in a friendly and informative manner, unlike many of the Northern VA Sales Rep who were rude (called every hour of the day until 11pm at night), and even antagonistic when they learned that I had placed a deposit with Hall Va Beach. Prior to going into Hall Va Beach, I spoke to Mark Stonis, who was just as helpful and nice as Mark Self. Due to my pregnancy, I told them that I would be unable to sit at the dealership for an extended period of time and that I would like to get as much done as possible prior to going there. Mark Stonis was great and got 99% of my information through email/phone; in fact, after I got to the dealership the whole appt took a little less than 1.5hr. Mark Stonis knew all the technical details of the car and went through all the features that I wanted to know about and well as giving me helpful hints on certain options. I also worked with Mr. Johnson, for the financial papers, and even though that was not his regular job (he was filling in for another employee) you couldn't tell it because the process was just as fast and smooth. While we were doing the financies, my SUV was programmed with all my options and was outside the door, cleaned, shined and ready to go. I would highly recommend the Hall Va Beach Acura dealership based on the treatement and service that I received; I could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely use them again when the time comes to purchase another car in our family. When we finally decided on an Acura MDX, we found there were only three dealerships in the area, Hall VB, Hall NN, and Priority. We visited Hall VB, and Shirley was personable but not pushy. My husband then went through our insurance company and dealt with Mark at Hall by phone and the internet. When a price was agreed upon, we went to Hall, and Shirley finalized the deal. I felt good about this since Shirley is who we first had contact with. Our experience at Hall Acura was wonderful. We feel like we got a good price on a fabulous car!!! More

My experience with Mark Stonis was excellent. My initial contact with Hall on this transaction was through an internet search for a new car. After initially communicating with Mr. Stonis to determine whether he had the RL that I wanted in stock I decided to look at another dealership. Hall had several TLs but only one RL in a color I was not interested in. I contacted Priority Acura. Though they had several RLs available, I felt uncomfortable with their sales staff. There were issues with lack of candor. There were issues with price differentials quoted and I felt uncomfortable. I contacted Mr. Stonis. Boy, am I happy I did! He was most accomodating and incredibly knowledgable. We discussed my wants and requirements and found an RL in a perfect color. I picked it up yesterday and so far, I love it! From the inception of my shopping expierence I was treated with courtesy and unparalled professionalism. I called Mr. Stonis and let him know that my husbsnd and I were pressed for time as our vehicle had been "totaled" and our rental agreement was up in two days on the loaner from the insurance company. Mark worked with me on the phone quickly accomadating our budget. When we came into the dealership the next day the Business Office was able to present us with an even better deal than was previously discussed. The black ACURA RDX 2010 was detailed and looked amazing when we picked it up. I am glad that we opted for the addtional protective package that seals the external paint the leather interior. My husband and I are both employes of the U. S Navy working with logistics. We know how important superior customer service is and thanks to Hall Acura of Virginia Beach and their staff we can finally say we've received that excellence from a Automotaive sales company.
