We walked the lot on a Sunday not realizing the dealership was open. Siroos Tale, sales consultant, inquired if he could be of assistance. Half hour later we conclude a purchase of a new Tacoma. The whole process was the easiest and most positive experience I’ve ever had in 50 plus years of driving. The staff treated us like family in every way. My son is about to look for a RAV4 - I definitely recommended this dealership. Best in Richmond. Well done. More
Haley was exceptional in helping me get the Camry XSE. I am deaf and but they helped me through the process. Buying a car is a huge issue but Haley Toyota really helped me with most everything. I took my 2023 Tundra for several recalls repairs and Robert Simpson greeted me and told me that I should have my truck back by the end of the day. He told me that he would call when it was ready. I hate writing reviews, but my recent experience here was very disappointing and I don’t want anyone else's money and time wasted. I arrived at my scheduled 9 AM drop-off time and did the normal check-i very disappointing and I don’t want anyone else's money and time wasted. I arrived at my scheduled 9 AM drop-off time and did the normal check-in to confirm the appointment details. They said that it would done that afternoon and would likely be $280 instead of the $250 they quoted me on the phone. It was not a huge increase and I was already there with a pick-up arranged, so I left the vehicle with them for the day. I didn’t hear anything till they called 8 hours later, indicating that they hadn’t been able to finish the work and would need to keep it through the next morning. I agree to this and change my schedule and set up logistics. 30 minutes later, I received a text from them, which I opened to see a confirmation request for $1900 in immediate critical service needs! $604.61 of the $1900 is the service I went in for that was initially quoted $250 on the phone and then at $280 during drop off! I immediately called to ask about the increase and they just say it would be several hours of service time plus $180 in parts. More frustrating is that they hadn’t even started the work after having my car the entire day. They offered to slightly discount the service only to be double the initial quote, but I declined the services period since. I also know enough about cars to know that half of the “critical” items were not needed, period. The other half will need to be done eventually but aren’t critical or urgent, like a coolant flush. Out of curiosity, I also walked over to the parts counter when I picked up the car to price the $180 in parts they quoted, which seemed high. The parts counter quoted me $134 or $46 cheaper than the service department. I’m not sure what’s going on here but I’d avoid this place If anyone has a good Toyota mechanic, please post a response, if possible. More
