Purchased Jeep Wrangler from HGreg in Orlando. .. with only 40,000 miles, but broke down over 4 times since purchasing it less then a year ago, and now its **unsafe** to drive. 1 momth after pur .. with only 40,000 miles, but broke down over 4 times since purchasing it less then a year ago, and now its **unsafe** to drive. 1 momth after purchase: -Brakes failed while I was driving it. Mechanic said the line was cut because new brakes were installed incorrectly by either Hgreg or Previous owner.. why didn't Hhreg find that during their multi point inspection??? 4mths After purchase - Serpentine belt broke while driving, again almost causing a major accident 6mths - Thermostat replaced / Leaks in my seals in my doors causing flooding in my interior 7mths - Belt Tensions bad / Transmisson pan & oil pan leaking & severe rusting discovered on the undercarriage and rust. Mechanic Told me the dealer or previous owner painted the undercarriage to hide RUST (Pics attached). My entire frame is rusted and vehicle is not safe to drive AND cannot be repaired.. Again- Why didn't Hhreg find that during their multi point inspection?? I have been trying to reach a manager there and surprisingly no call back from Hgreg. More
The WORST car buying experience - EVER! I have bought NINETEEN vehicles in the past 40 years & this was the absolute WORST!! And I told them exactly that. First, I had to beg them, to I have bought NINETEEN vehicles in the past 40 years & this was the absolute WORST!! And I told them exactly that. First, I had to beg them, to sell me the car - minimum of 5 phone calls. I had to fly to their location because they refuse to do anything online. I was there for almost 4 hours & I was preapproved through Capital One. I could not leave until I provided an insurance card and dec page showing the NEW vehicle that I was trying to purchase. I had proof of insurance & an extended coverage policy that insures me and ANY CAR ON THE PLANET that I drive. I have 2 FULL weeks to add any new vehicles to my policy. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with the 800 number purchasing a policy to satisfy their "company policy". Absolutely ridiculous management team! Agree with others - they are NOT transparent with pricing - $3,500 in dealer fees. Overcharged me for sales tax - I was from out of state and I'm a CPA so I KNOW what the rates are! The WORST experience ever! Do NOT recommend! More
