I was sold a car that had dirty seats. Wanted almost 900 to clean them. They should come cleaned not charged extra. Furthermore, a front crash sensor was broken. Took it back and told it was “fixed in the coding” but the error popped up 5 minutes later on the way back home. We told them EXACTLY what was wrong and they still didn’t care to correct the issue. 2nd worst car buying experience! ! I understand they are busy and a big company but I was treated not as a customer but just as the next one in line. FRIDAY-The sales man i was trying ! FRIDAY-The sales man i was trying to work with seemed extra busy like he didn't have time for me. While talking and looking for a car with him he left frequently to assist 2 other customers and to feed a homeless cat. (there is a time and place for that! not when I have driven 100 miles to get there and already been there for 2 hours.) I always check reviews and the page that I first read had a rating of 4.8 so i thought this would be a good experience. 4 hours later and I leave with the 2016 jeep renagade. im 20 miles from home and A sound starts under the shifter, Im now having issues between gears 1 and 4. (manual transmission). The next morning we call let them know whats going on and we were told to bring it back Asap. SATURDAY- So we drive the 100 miles back drop the car off to be told that service wasn't open till Mondy after they guy on the phone said they were open. Good thing we brought 2 cars. I immediately felt this car was not a good fit. I said i wanted to look for something else. I was told by the salesman that i could do that but it would be another hard hit on my credit. my score went down 22 pts when they ran it for the jeep. I felt TRAPPED and MINUPLIATED. SUNDAY I thought about the gut feeling I was getting about keeping this car. Vehicles are a investment, my previous vehicle purchase was a lemon and I was not about to fall into the same trap for even more money. I called the salesman and left a message that I had changed my mind about the car to call me back before he put it in the shop. MONDAY- no call back. I called 2 times just went to voicemail, i left 2 messages. I called customer service spoke to them they connected me to the dealership right to voicemail, i leave a message. A hour later i get a call from the salesmen that my "car is fixed it took them 3 hours to get it done that i can come pick up when ever i'm ready." I told him i changed my mind about the purchase and he tried to make me feel guilty saying that I should of called him to let him know. A hour later the salesman calls me back with his manager and asks me to talk to him. "What you need to understand is this is a used dealership the cars are going to have some issues" "give us a chance, we really want your review" those 2 sentences that were repeated many times. He asked me what i wanted from him, "nothing, please have my down payment money ready ill be in later today to get it" I show up ask for the salesman ended up getting talked to by another person i believe is a manager. He tells me the problem was fixed on "my car" in 5 minutes. Take it for a test drive and reconsider. 15 minutes later after repeating myself he calls the salesman out to meet me. He tells me to take it for a test drive. At this point im beyond upset. I tell him no several times and he walks away and gets another manager. As I keep repeating myself that "I don't want this car or any other car from them that this in not a good fit for me and I need to listen to my gut! Had I listened to my gut the last time I bought a car I would not have felt stuck with a lemon." Tears are coming down my face. I feel like im not being heard. i'm saying the same thing and not getting anywhere. minutes later I tell them I need my money back since i put cash down. I was told that it was after 5 that i could come back the next day to pick it up or get it in the mail. Had I been listened to when I got there they could of cut me a check! Worst experience ever and I will share my experience when and where ever I can! More
