This was probably the worst car buying experience of my life. Here is the story: We found a car we liked on Car Gurus. They connected us to a car dealer, HGreg.com in Orlando, and set up a visit there. We life. Here is the story: We found a car we liked on Car Gurus. They connected us to a car dealer, HGreg.com in Orlando, and set up a visit there. We received numerous follow up texts from HGreg confirming our appointment; we even received a price reduction update a couple of days prior to our scheduled visit. We drove 2 hours to the dealership just to find out that the car had left their lot three weeks before. We were understandably upset and frustrated. The car salesman and his manager told us that this was not their fault because they do not create the listings or the appointments. Indeed, the car salesman (who looked like a kid fresh out of juvie) complained that we were “giving him attitude” when we complained about HGreg’s business practices. Trying to make the best of an awful situation, we tried to look at cares that the Orlando dealership would be able to ship in from somewhere else. That’s when we found out that HGreg, besides the ubiquitous $899 “filing fee” (which everybody knows is bogus and pure dealer profit), adds on a suite of vehicle “protection” services to the tune of over four thousand dollars. The car salesman swore that he could not take these additions off because they “had already been applied to the car.” The car we looked at was ultimately over $10k more expensive than what it had been listed for on their website. That’s when we left – knowing that this was not a place where we would like to buy a car – ever! I am still at a loss for words as to how horrible the experience was. It felt sleazy and dishonest. The staff showed very little respect for us as clients and for fair sales practices in general. Apparently, the car we came to the dealership for, the one that had left the lot 3 weeks earlier, is still listed on HGreg Orlando’s website as of today. More
BAIT & SWITCH! ! They had a great deal car on their website and I called TWICE to ensure it was still available and was told it is still on the lot. Drove 45 minute ! Drove 45 minutes to get there after about 20 minutes the salesperson and his manager told me there was a missing the system and the car was sold. However, they had plenty of other cars to show me. I got up an walked out. Never going back to this place! More
My daughter and I communicated with the dealership and we were told that the vehicle was there. After we drove 2 plus hours to see it, we were informed the vehicle wasn’t even at that location. Wish it was possible to give HGreg a no star. I tried to talk with them several times to purchase a vehicle. I had my financing ready and wanted to come finalize the deal. I called several times and was pushed off to another line to leave messages. A call was never returned. I finally was able to talk with a salesperson at the Orlando store. I was told I could pay $150.00 and have the car transferred and then make the deal. I was told he would call me back. No return call again I called the next day talked to the Doral dealership and was told they transferred the car to Orlando I was overjoyed. I then call the Orlando dealership ready to come finalize the paperwork. I was told bluntly first come first serve you are out of state and we sold the car! I was shocked to say the least. I inquired about being first, had my financing and was ready to purchase a plane ticket to come pick up my car! I tried for 2 weeks to purchase this car. I only needed to schedule a time to sign the paper and drive my new car off the lot I never received any return phone calls after numerous messages left. Not even a courtesy call to let me know the car I was in the process of purchasing was sold to someone else! More

I called to verify a vehicle that was posted was available on Thursday. They confirmed it was ask when I could come in. I made plans to come in on Saturday. I called Saturday morning, before making the hour drive, to confirm the vehicle was available which it was. When I arrived onsite they basically want to push you over to a sales person with a computer to view their inventory. The room is basically just a bar with computers and sales people and it was very loud. I informed them I just wanted to see that specific vehicle. When they finally agreed to go get it, they came back 10 minutes later and said that car was not available and there was no way to see it....even though I had already confirmed twice including that morning. This is a typical bait and switch dealership. I wouldn't trust anything they post or sell. More
I tried very hard to purchase a car from the dealership. They had a car online that I was extremely interested in. repeated attempts to contact them through email and phone calls were fruitless. Phone calls went unreturned and they would keep emailing me asking me how things were going and I would tell them no one is answering any of my questions, but still nothing would move forward. After reading other reviews and seeing that they tack on at least $3500 in fees to the prices online I am very glad I did not pursue a car through this dealership. More

The salesperson make you write a review after the purchase, they say they don’t get paid for commission, but the reviews help them to get a “promotion”, he stare at you looking how you write the review and making sure you write the name. They add a “Elite Protection Plan” they told us that it was an add on, but it is not, it is required, they use the words “add on” to make us think we can choose to have it or not, even when I asked twice if I heard “add on” correct but after they run my credit they said I miss understood and it is required. Which add 1495$ to the purchase. We had to purchase the vehicle because we were in a hurry to get the car, but I would have left. We spend 5 hours to close the deal. They are not cleared and that is very unprofessional. We purchased a used vehicle and the GAP it’s required (which they never mentioned and we had no idea) they didn’t add how much I will have to pay with the GAP. When the time came to make the first car payment, I realized that I owe an additional $1,500 that does not appear on the Payment Options and I had to read every single paper to know where that money came from. Never coming back and I would never recommend this place. And last but no least I have to get the breaks fixed because they stop working the next day, and they quoted 600$ Labor plus the pieces.
