The service department and more specifically Austin the service manager were horriable, dishonest, failed to communicate, etc.We took the car in 2 months ago and just got it back last week. We took it in because it was overheating and wanted to have it looked at. We were told it was an engine issue based on other cars they had seen like this not because they had yet to look at our car. They also told us it would take to many labor hours to break the engine down to see if the warranty would cover it, but that they just knew it was the engine. When we asked for them to break it down because we had purchased the warranty they again told us more than likely it wouldn't be covered and it would take to many hours to do such. My husband had a friend who is a professional mechanic come ask some questions regarding tests they had done and it was told to.us they had not done those tests and and so we took it off the lot to have a friend do the tests that the dealership said it hasn't and wouldn't do. We eneded up returning the jeep back to the service department to get the service done by the warrenty after our friend said he didn't believe it was the engine but if we wanted the warrenty to cover it to take it back. We paid the $1200 to have the engine broke down like it was asked the first time. We then received several calls from sales men asking us to call the bank to have the jeep repossessed and take a hit on our credit buy they would go ahead and approve a new loan for us to purchase a new vehicle. All of this before we even knew what had happened to the car. In the mean time we were told by Austin it would be 2 days and we would know what what going on with the car. A week and half later they still had not broken it down and when they finally did they called and said it was NOT the engine. Austin accused my husband of taking it off the lot and not trusting the professionals to do their job, but here the professionls are telling us it is without a doubt the engine and it would take to long to repair but then call reporting it is in fact NOT the engine and instead a water leak and needs a radiator flush. They will call in the morning and let us know when to pick the car up. The next day we get a call saying when they turned it on all the dash lights lit up. and asked if that was happening when we dropped the car off? The short answer was no and we were told we would then have to wait on warrenty to approve it. A week later we were told it was approved and they would have it back shortly. We ended up getting the car back 5 days before we left the state needing the car. Never once was a rental car offered. We eneded up asking for one ourselves a week before we got the car back. I ended up calling and speaking to Roosevelt Adams, the GM, of the company and he was quick to side with his service manager telling me he is not sure what run around I was getting. He never did call again to see if the problem was resolved. The saving grace of this company was the kind lady who helped with the rental and the customer service tech in the service department. Never have we had more incompetentance, laziness, dishonesty, or lack of people who were able to do their jobs correctly. The only reason we had the job done there is because of the warrenty. A warrenty they sold us. We will never buy a car with them again, and frankly Austin should not have the position he has. More
Five star? you mean 1 star or less. if you buy a car there and take it back for service you better have a watch full of time and a pocket full of money. The you mean 1 star or less. if you buy a car there and take it back for service you better have a watch full of time and a pocket full of money. The service manager austin kenner likes to call you up and tell you how your problem is not covered on the lifetime warranty and you will have to pay a huge fee. I guess its their way of making sure you will never come back to buy another one. Buyer beware. More

My car was damaged in an attempted theft. Gwinnett CDJR was the dealership with the closest opening for servicing my car as it is my only vehicle, so I dropped my car off with them. Only afte Gwinnett CDJR was the dealership with the closest opening for servicing my car as it is my only vehicle, so I dropped my car off with them. Only after calling on several different occasions and requesting to come pick up my vehicle did they start servicing it after 2 1/2 weeks. I needed my passenger window replaced and new keys as the signal wouldn't pick up so I couldn't start the car. They send me a quote for 3000 dollars which I accepted. Another week and 1/2 goes by and I finally reach Derrick in the the service department who told me the car has been ready for a couple days, yet never answered the phone. The day of pick up I run into a plethora of problems. The new keys I have are only fobs, they don't come with the actual key incase of emergency or a dead fob. Then the milage on my car when dropped off was 5062 (in which I have photo proof), only to be surprised and disappointed to receive my vehicle back at 20102 miles. The IPC in my car was switched out with that of another car. Which is the reason as to milage difference, yet every other program in the car states the 5062. Lastly, Derrick Johnson again exclaimed the pleasure they had servicing my car and that they had washed and detailed the car. Another lie, the glass was never cleaned up, the car not washed as it still had writing from the tow yard, and last but not least my seat and puddle lights no longer work the same. Terrible Service and I would strongly recommend against this place of business, or fraud/scam. More

I have bought my last three vehicles from cdjr! Every experience has been wonderful. My recent experience was exceptional I just purchased a pre-owned vehicle on January 20th 2023. The manager Jose Every experience has been wonderful. My recent experience was exceptional I just purchased a pre-owned vehicle on January 20th 2023. The manager Jose led me to the perfect salesperson for me and that was Mr George. During the whole process Jose kept coming to check on me, and George was just exceptional he knew the exactly vehicle that I needed. I didn't really know what I wanted, I was just grateful to get approved. The process probably took an hour or so is that included the approval which took about 5 minutes for me to get approved.. then there's getting the insurance information and all the other paperwork that has to be done And then there's the financing and filling out all the paperwork, but when I tell you it was such a smooth process and I was so nervous going in. But it was just outstanding I love cdjr of Stone mountain, when I take my vehicles in for service they're great I just love them. I would recommend anyone to come to them for their vehicle needs. I just can't say enough about Jose and Mr George. I almost feel like family. Oh also I was driving a rental car and the rental place was 10 minutes from the dealership and George followed me down there and then we drove back so I was able to drop off the rental car that I had. The car buying process can be stressful but thankx to Perry, Brandon, Nick & Dean over at Gwinnett Doge that was not the case! As soon as I walked in the door Mr Perry immediately greeted me, asked me a Perry, Brandon, Nick & Dean over at Gwinnett Doge that was not the case! As soon as I walked in the door Mr Perry immediately greeted me, asked me a couple of questions then boom less than 30 mins later I walked out w/ the documentation needed to complete my pre approved loan requirements. There was no pressure to apply for in house financing or any suggestions to look at others cars which I have experienced at other dealerships. We then advised we’d be back in a couple days to get the car. We did so but decided to upgrade our selection, in doing so we needed another paper which we were given & introduced to Nick who helped us simplify the process by alerting us we only needed an approval code instead of the bank mailing the check or even needing the paperwork … it was easy does it after that Brandon stepped in & helped us sign paperwork, sync the car to phone & got us a nice lil discount on top of what we were already given… lastly we saw Dean he helped us finalize everything & couple hrs later we drove our brand new car!off the lot!!!!! Touchdown thank you guys, appreciate everything 🙌🏾🙌🏾🥳🥳 More
