I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service I received from Martin Parra. He was very arrogant and unprofessional in the way he treated me. I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service and lack of communication I have received from Martin Parra, a service advisor MANAGER . My vehicle has been at Group 1 GMC Westside f the service and lack of communication I have received from Martin Parra, a service advisor MANAGER . My vehicle has been at Group 1 GMC Westside for a 2 weeks, and I have received no meaningful update regarding its condition, diagnosis, or when I can expect the work to be completed. I do not have another vehicle available, which has created significant difficulty getting to work. Despite this, there has been no sense of urgency or effort to keep me informed. I called Mr. Parra on two separate days. During both conversations, he told me he would call me back with an update, but I never received either call. I understand that the service department assists many customers; however, failing to provide a promised update is unprofessional and unacceptable—especially from someone serving as a Service Drive Manager. Unfortunately, this is my second poor experience with this service department. The vehicle was previously brought in for the same major issue, but the problem was not corrected, requiring me to bring it back. I also stopped bringing my vehicles to this dealership for routine oil changes after one of the service advisors suggested that I take them elsewhere instead. Customer service should be a priority alongside properly diagnosing and repairing customers’ vehicles. At a minimum, customers deserve timely communication, honest updates, and respect for their time—particularly when their vehicle has been unavailable for an extended period. I also hope this complaint reaches the appropriate management team and prompts a discussion about communication, accountability, and being mindful of customers’ circumstances. I hope Group 1 GMC Westside will take the necessary steps to address both my vehicle and the service concerns described above. More
