Have a 2017 Ford Escape and woke up to find the ambient temp sensor light came on. Brought it to the Groove Ford service department on Arapahoe to find that Ford designed the sensor with a soy-based lubric temp sensor light came on. Brought it to the Groove Ford service department on Arapahoe to find that Ford designed the sensor with a soy-based lubricant which attracts animals, (google it) and put the wire in a place easily accessible to rabbits and squirrels. I paid for the repair (over $800) and found that 3 days later, the sensor came back on again. I brought it back over to Groove Ford on Arapahoe and they again claimed that animals had eaten the wire. After 3 days!! They just texted me that it’s ready for pick up the second time. I texted them back and asked if they had done anything different after the second repair to prevent this problem from happening again and have gotten no response back from their tech. They just want to get paid again. I then called and spoke to a service manager and got the same response; that he doesn't work for Ford. Ford pays all their salaries but there is no accountability. Solution - Like maybe coat the sensor with bad tasting grease, encapsulate the sensor, maybe stop making sensors out of food derivatives; something. These guys cannot think outside the box and I would highly recommend that everyone stay far away from this company. More

Do not buy a non-Ford from this dealership. I cannot speak for purchasing a Ford, but I bought a non-Ford and this has been a catastrophically bad experience. Went to Groove Ford and purchased a pre-owned Dodge Charger. The car came with Ford Blue, which is a 4000 mile warranty. After the purchase, I found that the rotors were warped. I took it back to the dealership a week after purchasing. I had driven about 45 miles. They said that we should wait until the brake pads were worse before replacing them. Fair enough. At 3000 miles, I brought the car back to get the rotors fixed under warranty. That's when I was informed that the warranty wouldn't cover the rotors, despite the fact that the car was sold with the rotors. I was not directly blamed, but the Used Car manager stated that "if the rotors were warped when we bought it, we would have fixed it." Not sure how I could have warped the rotors after driving 45 miles. The Service Technician also told me that they sell cars with warped rotors all the time. He offered to replace them for the cost of the rotors, which was nice of him. However, I didn't take him up on it. The other issue that earned this dealership a 1 star rating was the way I and the car were treated when trying to get service. It's a Dodge at a Ford dealership, and the only issue was the brakes. Despite that, the service advisors told me that there was only 1 technician that could work on it. The second time I brought it, two technicians were laughing at the car saying "why is that here? We don't work on those." If you know much about cars, you know that it doesn't take a genius to work on brakes on a Ford vs. A Dodge. Frankly, after that I wouldnt let them work on a lawnmower. Either they're incompetent, lazy, or both. And not replacing the damaged rotors that they sold the car with, while under warranty, is questionable at best. They didn't want to buy the parts, that's the only reason they wouldn't do anything when I first brought it in. Awful place. Sales experience was pretty mediocre, the guy treated me like I was bugging him. The only reason they got a sale was because they has the car I wanted, and I'll never be returning. More
I attempted to order a new 2022 Maverick through Emerson Gray back in July of '22. After being assured that everything was in order and to just wait on Ford, come to find out months later that Groove Ford " Gray back in July of '22. After being assured that everything was in order and to just wait on Ford, come to find out months later that Groove Ford "lost" my order. Nothing that they could do as the order banks had closed. They said if someone take delivery of one, I would be first right of refusal, or they could put my name in for a 2023 as soon as the order banks opened. I touches base with Groove Ford and the management every couple of months to be sure they didn't forget about me. The week the order banks for the 2023 Maverick opened, I notified Tim Barteau to be sure to get my order in. NO RESPONSE. Followed up with an email asking if he had any questions, NO RESPONSE. Finally included the General Manager Brook Peterson in an email asking about my order. FINALLY got a response from Tim saying they didn't place my order as the window for ordering was too short and there was nothing they could do. After a year and a half of trying to order/buy a new vehicle from Groove Ford, I WILL NEVER USE THEM again for ANY PURCHASE, and will be letting everyone I know about my experience. Trust no one there with what they tell you. It's all lip service. Even if you follow up, THEY WILL NOT. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! More

Called about a little truck they were selling. Perfect little truck for me so I wanted to test drive it. Before I could even test drive the truck, this kid had the audacity to offer me 5k for my Civic... this Civic is pretty clean and retails around 10.5-11k. I just had another dealer offer 9k for it (because they are decent people). What a joke. This place will low ball your trade in and try to sell you a 20year old truck for 4k over its true value. BUYERS BEWARE. More
