Grinwald Ford has been our dealership of choice for the past twenty years. The entire staff is genuine and treats customers with respect and care. We purchased our last F250 SD from Grinwalds twenty years past twenty years. The entire staff is genuine and treats customers with respect and care. We purchased our last F250 SD from Grinwalds twenty years ago (a stellar truck and still in great condition!) and decided to invest in a new F250 SD this summer. Bill Maron and John Grinwald patiently took us through the process to factory order the truck. It arrived and is a beautiful truck with power and options to spare! John Foltz in Finance got us a great finance rate with the monthly payments we specified. New car buy. Dealer prep needs to be better. You would think a 55k car would be very clean. Car came off the truck and probably through a wash and that was it. Although Grinwald Ford is about an hour away for me, I reached out to them (even though there are many Ford dealers that are closer) because their easy-to-use website showed they had a car with the exact reached out to them (even though there are many Ford dealers that are closer) because their easy-to-use website showed they had a car with the exact options I was looking for. I had a nice talk with Sales Consultant Bill Maron who invited me to come out for a drive. Bill, low-key, amiable, and very easy to work with, plotted out a route through surrounding countryside for a test ride. When I returned, he had worked up a price which, I knew from negotiating for similar cars at other dealers, was very economical, eliminating the unpleasant bargaining that is often required during a car purchase. I returned a few days later to pick up the car. After I finished up completing the paperwork, I returned to Bill's desk, and he had a puzzled look on his face. He told me that as he was reviewing all the details, he realized an dealer-installed option listed on the window sticker had not yet arrived. (The car only had 13 miles on it during my test drive; it must have just been delivered to Grinwald.) Now this was not an option I had been seeking, and, frankly, I might not have even noticed it was missing, at least not initially. But Bill's scrupulous sense of honesty led him to immediately point out the problem. He apologized and said the option would arrive in a week; during the return visit, I got to know the friendly, efficient guys in the service department, and I am tempted to return for oil changes and the like even though there many closer Ford dealers. When Bill spoke up, he may have cost Grinwald an hour of so labor. But he gained for them a customer for life. More
