I took it back and they had the service department look at it and they also were able to completely fix my truck! Im so GLAD/HAPPY that I bought with Jeff at Gresham ford and will do so in the feature. Thanks to Jeff, Ryan, management and all of the others that made my repair smooth and painless!!! 2015 ford Escape rear noise Gresham Ford normally provides great service on my vehicles and is normally oil changes and lubes. but on this 2015 ford escape with 24,000 miles and Gresham Ford normally provides great service on my vehicles and is normally oil changes and lubes. but on this 2015 ford escape with 24,000 miles and still under ford factory warranty was scheduled for appointment to see what the noise was coming out of the rear of the vehicle when driven. the vehicle set all day without being looked and and had to call service department a couple times to get a update on the findings. I was told( at the end of the day) that shocks have been a past issues with some of these Escapes and would just order a pair of shocks to replace. My issue with this is.............if the service department knew this from the start why did we have to leave the vehicle all day for nothing? getting picked up and dropped off morning and evening for something that could been handled much easier. More
They quote you one price and charge you more in the end On Monday, September 19, 2016, I called Gresham Ford to inquire about an appointment to have the clutch replaced in my 2006 Mustang. I spoke with Gre On Monday, September 19, 2016, I called Gresham Ford to inquire about an appointment to have the clutch replaced in my 2006 Mustang. I spoke with Greg who quoted me $925 and said the work would take 2 days (including sending out the fly wheel to be resurfaced). Greg told me to make an appointment a few days out to give them time to get the parts in. I made an appointment for the following week on Monday, 9/26/2016. I dropped my car off at Gresham Ford on Sunday, 9/25/16 at approximately 12:30 p.m. At approximately 3:00 p.m. on Monday, 9/26/16, Ryan (the Service Manager) from Gresham Ford called me and said that they would not honor the quote I was given by Greg on 9/19/16 (even though the quote was in writing). Ryan informed me that the cost would be approximately $1,600. Ryan proceeded to offer to purchase After Market parts (non-OEM) from NAPA which would bring the cost down to $1,100. I explained to Ryan that I brought it to a Ford dealership because I wanted Ford parts and service by a Ford certified mechanic. Ryan then told me that they had not even ordered the parts yet. They would order the parts on Tuesday and it would take 2 days to get the parts from a location in California. I asked Ryan if they had a loaner car since I was now going to be without my car for the rest of the week. He said No, but he would discount the repair by $300 so that I could rent a car. On Friday, 9/30/16 at 2:00 p.m. Ryan called me and said that the Mustang was ready for me to come pick it up. I drove to Gresham Ford, paid the bill, and was told that someone would bring my car around to the front. I found myself wondering that with the amount of incompetence I had experienced thus far from the service desk personnel what disaster could possibly be waiting behind the doors where the actual work was done? That question was answered when the technician who drove my car out front got out of my car and asked “Have you been having problems with your clutch?” I explained that I had brought it to Gresham Ford to REPLACE the clutch. He responded “Well it won’t shift in or out of gear.” In my mind I thought “ARE YOU SERIOUS!?” The car was then taken back into the service bay for another 40 minutes while the mechanic made adjustments so that the car would actually shift. As I waited I started thinking that there are 4 other Ford dealerships in the area and why hadn't I taken my car to one of those!? The amount of unprofessionalism I experienced at Gresham Ford was unbelievable. The audacity the service department had to call a customer and tell them that they would not honor a written quote is absurd! What is the point of getting a written quote if it won’t be honored. So you lure people in with low quotes, wait until you have their car, and then drop the bomb that you are jacking up the price by more than $500!!! Is that the way Gresham Ford does business? I’ll tell you what, though, FRIENDS DON’T LET FRIENDS TAKE THEIR CARS TO GRESHAM FORD. More

Frankly, we have had nothing but great experiences in dealing with Gresham Ford. Our first was a 95 Ranger....handed down to our Grandson and still going strong with over 200,000 miles on it. The second was a 250 Super Duty Diesel (2007) that pulled our camper, hauled rocks, mulch and was also used as our only vehicle. The truck got excellent mileage, and we never had any problems with it. After selling the camper we decided we could go back to a smaller vehicle. Went back to Gresham Ford and dealt with Sam Rich, Preston, and AJ. They went above and beyond to see that everything went great as we purchased a new Escape (Titanium) that we are loving to drive. I have owned it 9 mo now and have had to take it back to the dealer 4 times. Everyone there was rude and called me a liar to my face about issues that are still not resoved on my car. They are not helpfull and by far the worst car buying expirence I have ever had. I think of myself as a ford guy but gresham ford has ruined that for me forever. More
