I purchased my 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 from Andrew at Gresham dodge and it was a great experience. I contacted him through their internet sales page and was extremely happy with the quick response to my Gresham dodge and it was a great experience. I contacted him through their internet sales page and was extremely happy with the quick response to my request. Additionally, Andrew went out of his way to locate the exact color and options that I was looking for which was not an easy task on the limited SRT production models. Since then I have had my Challenger SRT-8 and my wires Cherokee SRT-8 serviced exclusively by Gresham Dodge with great results every time. Eric and Ken in service always take great care of us. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a fair price on a new or used car with a more laid back sales approach. I would also recommend their service department for anyone who is very picky about their vehicles as I am extremely picky about vehicle service and they have always done a great job for us. I had emailed and requested a service date for my Dodge Caravan. I was very specific as to what repairs I needed. Mr. Ken Knudson, the Service Manager, responded to my yahoo account, never stating that any of the requested repairs were beyond the scope of what their dealership was capable of performing. We exchanged several emails, so I'm sure the email I sent this to was correct and that he received the below email. I also sent a copy to their Customer Relations Dept, whose name and email I retrieved from their website. I would have sent directly to their General Manager, but neither his name or contact information were available. The level of professionalism from their service dept was less than adequate, but worse was that I was charged $98.00 when no repairs were completed on my van. With the last repair I needed last week, I took my van to a Chevrolet dealership. Their level of customer service was extraordinary. They got me in the same day, made a special parts run for a $75.00 part and had it waiting when I arrived. Further, without asking they drove my wife and I to a local restaurant so we could eat lunch while waiting for repairs and picked us up. Lastly, they washed my van prior to delivering to me. They did all of this for a total bill of $100.00, $2.00 more than what Gresham Dodge charged me for nothing. They had politely told us where a restaurant was located which my wife and I walked to, only to return and wait in their lounge room while I watch the events that are described in my email. I brought my van in for x3 reasons, each of which I outlined in detail in my initial request for an appt sent via your website. In that email, I stated that there was a problem with the exhaust causing a knocking in the rear of the vehicle, the pwr door locks were not working correctly and that they were an "after market" install, and lastly that some of the switches on the dashboard were not lighting so could not be seen at night. When I reviewed/outlined these problems with Ms. Overton, she promptly informed me that the exhaust could not looked at at your service dept and that I would have to take it to an outside exhaust mechanic. She gladly gave me the name, address and number for a local shop that your dept frequently uses. Secondly, she informed me that your service dept does not work on "after-market" products, and again referred me to an outside mechanic that could possibly help me. If this was the case for these two items, why didn't you tell me that via the numerous emails that we exchanged so I could have made other arrangments for these repairs? The only issue that your mechanic could address was the dashboard lights not illuminating at night. There were two switches of concern; the switch to operate the headlights and the switch to operate the rear windshield wiper. The rear wiper swich would have cost approx $500.00 and I opted not to repair it. The switch for headlight is entirely another matter. Ms. Overton informed that she "thought" the switch did not illuminate based on another mechanics statement that he did not "believe" that the same switch worked on his vehicle. I expressed my concerns that I don't think that this was correct and asked for further troubleshooting and clarification. She said she would pull the part from the parts depat, but later stated that the parts dept could not verify whether the switch illuminated or not. I asked for the mechanic to pull the shop manuals and review the electrical shematics to determine if there was a lamp built into the switch or not. After almost two hours with my van sitting in the shop and no one working on it, I went to the the parts dept and asked if they could pull up the schematics. They stated that they did not have access to the shop manuals. At the same time, another customer had pulled in with a similar van as mine so I asked her if her switch illuminated. She stated that it did, I found Ms. Overton and asked her to verify this which she did, the switch did illuminate. I asked for the mechanic to continue to determine if my switch was supposed to illuminate or not using the shop manuals. That's when I noticed that my van had been pulled out of the shop and the other customers van parked in same stall. I asked where my van was and was told that it was moved outside. After the dumbfounded look on my face, Ms. Overton said she would bring the van back in. I was told that the mechanic then physically compared my switch with the other van and determined that my switch did not illuminate. I asked if the mechanic had pulled the shop manuals and reviewed the wiring diagram, I was told that another mechanic was going to do that, but again my van was moved outside. Frustrated that a simple process of pulling the shop manual or reviewing the elecrical diagram had not been performed, I asked for my keys to leave. That's when I given a bill for $98.00 with absolutely no repairs being completed on my vehicle and no certainty that my headlight switch is not supposed to illuminate. I think this is a very excessive charge and would have thought since no repairs were completed on my van that I wouldn't have been charged anything. Your mechanics didn't have to perform any troubleshooting except for turning on the headlights and looking to see if the switches illuminated, which I had already told them that they didn't. Ms. Overton was helpful, but don't feel that she was at all aggressive in finding the correct answers to my problems/questions. I feel I wasted the entire time that my wife and I waited at your service dept and am no better off than when I came in, and $98.00 poorer. More

Wife drives a BMW and the customer service and sales staff at Gresham Dodge met or surpassed the high level of service we had received from BMW. The Gresham team is not a high pressure sales outfit. They are willing to take the time to make sure you find what you want. Prices are very competitive - even when compared against the big store in Idaho. Another bonus is that you are helping support a local Oregon dealership and one that you will have a service relationship with as well. Jerry and Greg have extensive product knowledge of their products and the competitors. The claims about the differences between the Ram, Chevy, and Ford were confirmed by our visit/test drives of the different brands. Will was very helpful in making sure everything was right on the truck and found us an even better interest rate from the excellent one we had already found from our credit union. Will is also an authorized DMV rep and we were able to select our plates and leave the dealership with them on (every dealer should do this). More
I have purchased new vehicles from Gresham Dodge since 1996 and the experience of buying a new car is always top notch from Gresham Dodge. The sales force is a no pressure experience from the time you wal 1996 and the experience of buying a new car is always top notch from Gresham Dodge. The sales force is a no pressure experience from the time you walk in to the time you leave. If you are just browsing they will let you do that without a salesman chasing you around like other dealerships do. I just purchased another new vehicle 2012 Ram 2500 over the weekend and it went flawless again like my prior purchases and my wife and I were in and out like buying a car should be. My wife is a no haggle person as myself. Barry is such a great salesman to work with and down to earth, can carry on a coversation like we are old friends and no sales pressure. Between Barry, Will, and Andrew what can I say but excellent on all points. Andrew treats you like a person and will go out of his way to ensure you have the greatest buying experience and feeling good about your purchase when you leave. I could keep going on about Andrew but will run out of space. Then there is William, wow paperwork process was ready to go with no interuptions and another person that you can actually have a conversation outside of what you are purchasing. It is nice to see these guys greet you with a smile and a good old fashion handshake and that goes for all there employees. It is rare that you find a dealership stacked with employees that really do care about there customers. Gresham Dodge will always get my business because they have earned it, Why go anywhere else. Thanks Guy's for your outstanding service. Love the truck. Rick More
I was purchasing a new truck for business use. I called on an ad vehicle (excellent price - put Ford and Chevy out of the running) and let them know I would come out with a check for the full amount. They on an ad vehicle (excellent price - put Ford and Chevy out of the running) and let them know I would come out with a check for the full amount. They faxed me back the paperwork to provide to Accounts Payable and we set up an appointment. The dealer is a good 45 minute drive away so I let them know I needed to make the drive just once and get in and out. They made it happen. The paperwork is super-fast and smooth, the test ride and explanation of vehicle features was worth the extra time even though I already had a similar but older truck. No wasted time, no surprises, just what I needed as a business buyer. More

We went to other dealerships and had very bad service and treatment (especially at Dick's Country Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Hillsboro) Gresham Dodge was a complete opposite. I thought the overall experience was OK, but there were a few things I thought could be done better to get a good or even Great rating. It took a long time for the paperwork to be completed. The gas tank whe few things I thought could be done better to get a good or even Great rating. It took a long time for the paperwork to be completed. The gas tank when I received the car was less than have full. I've bought new and used cars from dealers before and the tanks were filled. I would have given the price a Good to exellent rating if it wasn't for the $229 they charged me for an etched number the dealer has put on the window to lower their insurance rates(that's what I was told anyway) and then pass along the cost to me. I guess if the dealer has to do that and it costs that much that's fine, but you need to add that to the add price up front so the person buying the car knows up front what the actaul price is. Seems to me they are not totally being truthfull with their price since the dealer knows ahead of time. It's kind of having a hidden option on the car that I don't want and wasn't told about. So bottom line be honest about the price up front and don't spring it on the customer when they are in the middle of the paperwork. If the add price had not been a good deal I would have told the dealer that I'm not paying the extra $229 and I'm only paying waht they had it advertised for. Thinking back I should have probably done that. More
The dealer had an outstanding price online that we could not pass up. Furthermore, we contacted other dealers with a better price in the area that had a similar vehicle for sale except it was not the color not pass up. Furthermore, we contacted other dealers with a better price in the area that had a similar vehicle for sale except it was not the color we were after. We asked the dealer if they would knock down the price to what their competitors were offering and they matched it. Even though we were set on purchasing the vehicle as we had already test driven other similar models (just not the color we wanted) when we arrived they wanted us to take the vehicle for a test drive and take a look at the vehicle prior to purchasing it to make sure it was exactly what we were looking for and to make sure that nothing was wrong with the vehicle. The person helping walk through the financial paperwork was very friendly and helpful. They asked once whether or not we wanted to add other options or extend the warranty, which we declined and they never questioned or pressured us in upgrading anything, which is not like the experience I have gotten at other dealers. I’d recommend working with the dealer on a purchase of a vehicle as I had an overall great experience. More
