I had a 9:30 am appointment for my first oil change yesterday. After sitting in the waiting area for 45-50 minutes I decided to get up and walk outside. To my dismay, my car was still sitting where I p yesterday. After sitting in the waiting area for 45-50 minutes I decided to get up and walk outside. To my dismay, my car was still sitting where I parked it at 10:25. I went to the service desk to find out why. The service manager went back to inquire. She said there was an issue and they were behind. My car was then taken back. Wow - right away. Would it have sat there longer if I hadn't inquired about it? It took another hour to finish. Then I was charged $66 for the oil change. Under my Honda Care I should have been charged $45. I was also charged for tire rotation, I thought this was covered but maybe not. I need to have someone review my Honda Care coverage with me. I paid over $3K for that package when I purchased my new car from you in January. My car, at the time of service, had 6,350 miles on it. The invoice said my car has over 26,000 and I pointed out that error. Typo probably. I was charged for repair on a tire - absolutely no problem with paying that. I am waiting for the other charge(s) to be corrected. I am extremely disappointed with the service. I will say that everyone was very polite and nice. I was told right before I left that you were short a few mechanics but for the length of time I waited, I think someone should have told me there was a delay upfront - well before almost an hour had passed. Keeping the customer updated when there is a delay goes a long way. It was after I got home that I realized the errors on the invoice. Christina has been very nice and is looking into correcting the charge(s). I work full time, do not live in Waco so I have a 40 minute drive to Greg May. Saturday is the only day I can bring my car in for servicing. I understand I have to wait for services to be performed and things can be beyond your control but this experience was unacceptable. More
Mr Bracken was very professional and said the wait would take about 2hours and a little less than 2hrs he brought me my keys and said they were done my steering felt so much better, tighter.
