I brought my car for several issues but mainly for the check engine light. I had to wait for the part to come in a couple days. However, none of the other issues were solved. I brought my car for a problem that has continued to be a problem for years (the sliding door doesn’t always latch making it so I have to get out to close it). Every time I bring it in, they say it’s working. I also wanted a couple buttons replaced but is considered wear and tear but because of labor would be hundreds of dollars. Matt is helpful but I’m not happy with nothing getting done that I bring it in for. I’m also sick of them wanting to buy my car. More
Unfortunately, My experience with my advisor, Shelby, was poor. When I spoke to her on the phone she had an attitude when I asked her a question about the time estimate of when my car would be finished. Then poor. Then I told her to let me know when the shuttle can come to pick me up. The person that was supposed to call me never did. I had to call back two hours later asking her again to tell someone to send the shuttle. Finally, after I had to call her, someone did eventually pick me up. Over the phone, Shelby told me the work they did to my car and the batteries they replaced in both of my key fobs. Once I paid my part, I got the keys and walked to my car to leave. Before I left I wanted to take a look around the vehicle to make sure everything looked good. I started the car and when I went to go shut it off, the low battery signal appeared on the dashboard. I realized that they never changed the battery in my key fob even though I paid for that service to be done. I had to go back inside and talk to Shelby to inform her that I paid for a service they never did. I could tell by her demeanor and attitude that she was not happy that I was there again. She changed the batteries in front of me to prove that they were actually changed. After she changed them, she told me to go to my car and check to make sure the light did not come on again. I had to ask her to come with me to check, which she should have just offered since her job centers around customer service. We walked back to my car and when I turned it on and off the low battery light did not come on. I said to her that the 250 dollar service I paid for was not done properly. If I hadn’t checked myself, I would have found out after I left the dealership and would’ve had to come back. She apologized but I could tell it was insincere. She walked away from me mid-sentence after I told her that I would be leaving her a review based on the bad service. Overall, my first experience at this KIA dealership was not a good one and I was left very unhappy with the service I paid for. The other advisor Carlos Alejo was also not very friendly or welcoming to me ever since I first arrived. This dealership could be improved with better communication among employees and better customer service to avoid situations like mine. More
