New Car My son and I recently went to this Kia dealership ( February 28th) we were searching for a new car for me. We had already visited another Kia to which My son and I recently went to this Kia dealership ( February 28th) we were searching for a new car for me. We had already visited another Kia to which we were totally ignored. By that I mean we walked around the parking lot, we enter the building and No-One approached us. We had seen the reviews on this Kia in East Colonial and decided to go to it. We were quickly greeted by a waving and big smile gentle men who introduce himself as Sam ( Issam). He was very welcoming and helpful. We explained we were just starting our search and had other dealerships to go to, but if we did not fine what we needed elsewhere we'd be back. He was neither offended nor pushy. He gave us his card and wish us well. We were back the next day, and met with Sam. This was my first new car and it was very overwhelming. However, he was extremely patient, courteous and listen to us as to what we were looking for in a car. We also met with Hicham Belaharsa, these young men made my son and I feel as our concerns where important to them and did everything possible to assist us. I highly recommend this KEA Dealership due to everyone we encounter were extremely kind and welcoming and both Sam and Hicham, two young men who are very competent in their job, helpful and demonstrate Great Customer Service Skills. He didn't pressure nor make me feel a sense of urgency. He genuinely cares for his potential buyers and makes sure they buy a vehicle that fits their budget as well. I'm a single mother and I told him in the beginning exactly what I can afford and he made it happened. Thank you so much Mike Severino, you truly are the best and I will definitely make sure others know about you. Also, would like to make it known that the financial consultant was very professional and even after Kia was closed he made sure to complete my paperwork. Everyone at this dealership was great. Service department I took my car in for a rotation and alignment and the service guy wanted to charge $57 to take the wheel locks off the car. What a joke since they have the master set for kia locks. The funny thing is they lost the original lock but wanted me to pay for it!! The service advisor came up with some BS without looking at the car that they needed to be cut off and would take 1/2 hour of labor to get them off More

Unless you can throw away money, avoid at all costs. I walked in knowing I have little to no credit, and not much good. I was very up front with the sales people about this, and about the fact I was I walked in knowing I have little to no credit, and not much good. I was very up front with the sales people about this, and about the fact I was "just browsing" at that moment. I was offered a "sign and drive" deal, which deep down felt almost too good to be true, since I knew my old vehicle was a ticking time bomb. But, knowing my old car was close to death, I decided to jump at the chance for a new car. I spent hours after a long day at work on a Saturday in the showroom fixing my insurance (which was a debacle in and of itself) signing papers, and finally being handed keys to a 2016 Kia Soul, and being told I was good to go. All I'd have to do was return Monday with a copy of my paystubs (which wouldn't print due to some issue with their printer) and proof of residency and sign one last paper and I'd be good to go. Come Monday, they still didn't have a bank decision and rescheduled me for several days later, on Thursday. When I came in Thursday morning, there was no finance manager available until later that day (and I had to be at work for several back-to-back 13 hour shifts.) I rescheduled for the following Monday. At this point I found out they were having problems with my financing, and was told I "might need a co-signer". (I don't have ANYONE available to co-sign. I was up front about this with the salespeople in the beginning, but kept being told, "oh, you have someone who'll help, we'll come up with something".) When I came in that next Monday, I was told that they were trying more banks, were giving me more for my trade, but that I was falling short on income. (Which gives lie to the "if you take home $350 a week you're approved!" bull line because I do.) I was again asked about a co-signer. And then told by Eddie, the sales manager that he still had other options, and he would get back to me the next day. More than a week came and went with NO word from anyone at Kia. I was beginning to think no news was good news until I finally spoke to someone and found out that unless I can either get a co-signer or $1500 down, that I have to turn in the Kia Soul and take back my time bomb that broke down on them. To say I'm pissed beyond belief is an understatement. I was ready to extol this dealership to the world and refer tons of people I know who are car shopping. Now, I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. I feel very let down, and like I've been scammed. I've wasted a LOT of time and worry on this the last three weeks, time I can't get back. And while I like to think everything happens for a reason, I can't see this one yet. Buyer, beware, when you drive onto this lot looking for a car, if you're like me with less than perfect credit and just want a fair deal. *Edited to add* I originally wrote this while waiting for my old car to be returned to the lot (which took several days, again with no communication from Kia.) They switched my plate back to my old car, but they never changed the registration. I found out about two hours later that I was driving a car that didn't have a tag or registration - and I found out the hard way. I also would like to add that I know this next bit is my own stupidity - but they seriously inflated the price of this car (which was why they offered 'so much for my trade'), and the APR they were going to be charging was nothing short of extortion. I was told this by a bank manager (after I went to my company's credit union to get a loan and told them what happened and showed them the paperwork.) More
