Unless you can throw away money, avoid at all costs. I walked in knowing I have little to no credit, and not much good. I was very up front with the sales people about this, and about the fact I was I walked in knowing I have little to no credit, and not much good. I was offered a "sign and drive" deal, which deep down felt almost too good to be true, since I knew my old vehicle was a ticking time bomb. But, knowing my old car was close to death, I decided to jump at the chance for a new car. I spent hours after a long day at work on a Saturday in the showroom fixing my insurance (which was a debacle in and of itself) signing papers, and finally being handed keys to a 2016 Kia Soul, and being told I was good to go. All I'd have to do was return Monday with a copy of my paystubs (which wouldn't print due to some issue with their printer) and proof of residency and sign one last paper and I'd be good to go. Come Monday, they still didn't have a bank decision and rescheduled me for several days later, on Thursday. When I came in Thursday morning, there was no finance manager available until later that day (and I had to be at work for several back-to-back 13 hour shifts.) I rescheduled for the following Monday. At this point I found out they were having problems with my financing, and was told I "might need a co-signer". (I don't have ANYONE available to co-sign. I was up front about this with the salespeople in the beginning, but kept being told, "oh, you have someone who'll help, we'll come up with something".) When I came in that next Monday, I was told that they were trying more banks, were giving me more for my trade, but that I was falling short on income. (Which gives lie to the "if you take home $350 a week you're approved!" bull line because I do.) I was again asked about a co-signer. And then told by Eddie, the sales manager that he still had other options, and he would get back to me the next day. More than a week came and went with NO word from anyone at Kia. I was beginning to think no news was good news until I finally spoke to someone and found out that unless I can either get a co-signer or $1500 down, that I have to turn in the Kia Soul and take back my time bomb that broke down on them. To say I'm pissed beyond belief is an understatement. I was ready to extol this dealership to the world and refer tons of people I know who are car shopping. Now, I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. I feel very let down, and like I've been scammed. I've wasted a LOT of time and worry on this the last three weeks, time I can't get back. And while I like to think everything happens for a reason, I can't see this one yet. Buyer, beware, when you drive onto this lot looking for a car, if you're like me with less than perfect credit and just want a fair deal. *Edited to add* I originally wrote this while waiting for my old car to be returned to the lot (which took several days, again with no communication from Kia.) They switched my plate back to my old car, but they never changed the registration. I found out about two hours later that I was driving a car that didn't have a tag or registration - and I found out the hard way. I also would like to add that I know this next bit is my own stupidity - but they seriously inflated the price of this car (which was why they offered 'so much for my trade'), and the APR they were going to be charging was nothing short of extortion. I was told this by a bank manager (after I went to my company's credit union to get a loan and told them what happened and showed them the paperwork.) More

The response I got was "What does your dad make all your decisions for you?" rather than being professional and understanding my situation. His solution to this was going to run more numbers for a different car. He did this 3 times and before the third time I told him I wasn't trying to waste his time and he didn't need to look it up I just needed the night. He insisted on going to look up the information anyway and when I told him I still couldn't make the purchase until tomorrow he looked at me and asked "Do you know what the most valuable commodity is?" and I told him "Time. I'm sorry if you feel like I've wasted yours but I told you I couldn't buy today and needed to wait for tomorrow." I stood up to shake his hand-because at this point he had already lost my sale-and he just looked up me and said "Next time don't waste other people's time." So I walked out on him. More

I visited Orlando Kia east on 6/6/2016 to try to get a A/C issue fixed, when I walked in & explained my problem to the service adviser that was on duty, first thing out his mouth was" I'm sorry today is not a good day for warranty issues, & I can book an appointment for a future date."I immediately responded well, it's not a warranty, I'm paying out of pocket, that is when he said oh ok, I can get you in within the next hour. I was really annoyed at his response, but knew I wanted this issue to be resolved with my car. Now, after waiting for 2-1/2 hours he comes to me & tells me that my compressor needs to be replaced, I said ok, his response "well I don't have the part & need to order it". It took him 2-1/2 hours to come back to me & tell me this!!! ORLANDO KIA EAST, get your service department straighten out, horrible way to do business... More

He went out of the way to have us happy. Hicham was our financing expert. I know he really tried to get me a good deal.
