We required 4 hours total of driving during what is a very busy and stressful time due to family needs and were treated to a very satisfying experience in our dealing with Great Lakes Honda. Our sales rep, Kevin, was very easy to communicate with by phone, text and in person. After finding this 2015 F-150 XLT XTR online, Kevin sent requested photos of potential problem areas for the pre-owned truck and did not appear to hold back as he represented the vehicle well, so we were very pleased upon checking it out and test driving it. He was very knowledgeable and gave me added information that helped me in deciding to buy this truck. The financial officer , Jeff was also very satisfying to work with and helpful completing the transaction. We have not had this F-150 but a few days but are driving it a lot initially and so far , we are very happy with it and have received several compliments. Altogether this was an enjoyable experience and we found Great Lakes Honda a friendly, professional organization. More
We came to Great Lakes Honda looking for an SUV for our expanding family. We worked with Salesperson Lisa, who not only had an excellent knowledge of all the vehicles within our range of possibilities and expanding family. We worked with Salesperson Lisa, who not only had an excellent knowledge of all the vehicles within our range of possibilities and price, but also was very personable and just nice to talk to. She was genuinely interested in us as people, and our family. Knowing that our new vehicle would be hauling car seats and strollers, she knew all the associated features and safety tech that mattered to us. When it was time for us to make the deal, there were a few delays on our end due to some unexpected family events. Lisa kept in touch and even offered to come in on her day off to help us through the process. We will be back to Lisa and Greak Lakes Honda for our next vehicle purchase. I want to start by saying the dealership is clean, friendly, and welcoming. My salesperson, Lisa, was great and I enjoyed working with her. That being said, I did not purchase a car from this dealership and I’m not sure that I would. I was planning to purchase a CPO 2020 Honda Passport and was all set to move forward when we noticed a lot of condensation in the headlights. I asked for it to be fixed before purchasing the car, ESPECIALLY since it’s Honda Certified. I was absolutely shocked when she came back and told me the sales manager and service manager refused to fix it, and then said if I purchased the car and wanted it fixed, I could also purchase the extended warranty so it would be covered. I couldn’t believe it- they were essentially wanting me to buy a car with a known issue and then pay more to have it fixed. Luckily the issue was found before I moved forward and I was saved a lot of time and money, but to say I was shocked that this is how they do business is an understatement. I am truly blown away that they refused to fix a known issue! More
