We bought a used car with hail damage. We were told the cost to repair the damage would be around $2,000 to $3,000. The next day, after we purchased the car, we had an estimate and it was $7,000. We were told that the estimate might go down in a few months. We feel we were taken advantage of. Grayson already recievd a check from their insurance company, probably for $7,000 or more. Then they make us feel we are getting a deal and have us believe the repairs will only be $2,000. They made an extra $5,000 by leadind us to belive the repair would be much cheaper. This is not the way to get repeat customers. We called the very next day after purchase to request to turn the car back in and get our trade in back. This request was denied. More
I was looking at new cars in general, not intending to buy that day. I had test drove the Kia Sorento and then test drove the Outback. I visited Grayson after reviewing several cars on their website. I emailed with their staff several times before visiting to look at some options. This worked very well. Keith Jones worked with me to find other options, and I found a model (The Elantra) that I would not have even considered previously. This car fit my needs and expectations very well. In addition, I was able to get what I thought was a very good price on the car because of some minor hail damage. Keith worked very well with me, and we didn't end up in the haggling maze. We got to a price I could live with quickly. Keith fully explained the options and electronics on the car to me before I left. I found him easy to work with, without pressure or hassle. More

This was my son's first experience buying a new car. There were several vehicles and dealerships being considered after the online activity of Nathan. If Subaru didn't provide satisfaction in all areas then we were off to Mazda. The vehicle that they wanted was actually sold before they arrived on Tuesday. It was desired primarily because of price. Randy explained the situation well, helped with a different vehicle, worked through price and finance, and made Nathan and Laura feel very comfortable. Last Sat. was a sunny day, so we drove from Cosby to Grayson. Seth was not there, but we were met by Jerry Coppinger,who was extremely nice and friendly. I told him my top limit was $15,000, that I wanted a used Subaru Impreza with low mileage. He showed me the 2007 Impreza,plus a Forrester which was the same price but had many more miles. I chose the Impreza. The car was spotless inside and out and the test drive went well, considering this was the first time I had driven since my accident. We had a bit of a wait after the car was ready, but it was a pleasant one and due to the fact that David was processing a couple of customers before us. I have not had to have any service done yet, so cannot comment on the service dept other than to say I am so glad that they are open on Saturdays. I do not enjoy driving to Knoxville, but Saturday traffic is lighter and easier on my nerves! By the time we settled on a price, it was $300 over what I had said my limit was. We did not haggle. They filled the gas tank for me, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience which took slightly less than 3 hours from the time I walked onto the lot until I drove the Subaru home. I appreciate greatly the fact that no one talked "down" to me as a woman buying the car in my name only. I have had that experience in the past and did not like it.
