I was misled during purchase to believe 24 months of service was included. Paper provided with car describes said service. Today after driving 90 miles for the first oil change and tire rotation, I was service was included. Paper provided with car describes said service. Today after driving 90 miles for the first oil change and tire rotation, I was told the service is only included if you paid full MSRP. Who is there right mind would pay full MRSP for a vehicle? Someone lied! I will NEVER do business with Grayson Subaru again and I will warn everyone I know! More
Our 2013 Outback experienced a road hazard issue with one of the tires. We picked up a piece of metal that sliced the tire. It could not be patched and required replacement. Grayson helped us out by applying of the tires. We picked up a piece of metal that sliced the tire. It could not be patched and required replacement. Grayson helped us out by applying the Subaru Gold protection which replaced the tire for free. They were responsive to the emergency repair and had my wife back on the road within hours. Additionally, they found three minor chips in the windshield and repaired them for a very reasonable price. We appreciated the proactive nature of this service recommendation. More
We did expereince a slight problem in which the car was released without a temp dealer tag. Neal caught the issue quickly and we returned the next day to pick it up. Luckly we were not cited by the police. released without a temp dealer tag. Neal caught the issue quickly and we returned the next day to pick it up. Luckly we were not cited by the police. We did experience a problem with the Homelink set up. However, Seth was very helpful with some addiitonal set up info and forums that assisted in getting the system to function. More
This was our first Subaru purchase. John and Seth were both very friendly, attentive and informative. We received thorough answers for every question we had. We enjoyed John's short tutorial on how to use both very friendly, attentive and informative. We received thorough answers for every question we had. CJ is the most honest and helpful salesman I've ever dealt with. I had such a good and positive experience with him and his excellent service that I bought a second car from him for my wife! When we were ready to take the car a man named Zeke was very informative and showed us how all the features worked. A few days after we got the car, I had a problem with my cellphone connecting to the Blue Tooth feature. The service department was great in solving the problem (I can't remember the names of the men but they were extremely helpful and didn't stop until the problem was solved). More
The service and friendly staff at Greyson is unbeatable. I was searching the internet for a used Subuaru Forester. I sent an email about one listed on the Greayson website. After receiving a reply, I call I was searching the internet for a used Subuaru Forester. I sent an email about one listed on the Greayson website. After receiving a reply, I called the dealership and spoke with Zeke. He informed me the vehicle has been sold and asked if I would be interested in an Outback. He explained the difference in the two so I decided to drive to Knoxville from Chattanooga to look at the Outback. After taking a test drive, I was sold. I love my 2011 Outback. Thank you for the great service. Judy Caputo. More
One of the best experiences I've had in buying a vehicle. Would recommend Grayson to anyone who's looking to purchase a vehicle. Also, I love my Elantra. Would recommend Grayson to anyone who's looking to purchase a vehicle. Also, I love my Elantra. More
After researching online and determining that the Subaru Outback was the best car for our needs, we visited the dealership. Shane was friendly and accommodating throughout our search process. We ended up ma Outback was the best car for our needs, we visited the dealership. Shane was friendly and accommodating throughout our search process. We ended up making four visits to the dealership, and their approach and policies really helped us make our decision. We found a pre-owned 2010 Outback that suited our needs, and they helped us work through our questions. Because of some personal timing and the weekend, Shane even encouraged us to take the car home over the weekend while we worked out the details of the sale. The dealership has nice facilities, and the staff in general are friendly. While Shane was helpful and friendly, he was also high-pressure. He ran down other car manufacturers (a big negative to me), and was pushy about his product line (and more expensive options within his product line). As the deal reached conclusion, he began treating us like a bit of a bother. He was clearly ready to move on to the next client. The interaction with the business manager, Randy Carter, was even less positive. Contrasting other nice reviews of him on this website, my wife and I found him very over-bearing and even bullying. He did not want to accept our resolute answer of "no" to the bumper-to-bumper coverage. He was so adamant we needed it, in fact, that it undermined the Subaru claim of reliability. From Randy's perspective, the car was going to start falling apart the minute we drove off the lot, and repairs would bankrupt us without the full coverage. This is hardly an endorsement of the car's quality! The used car sales manager (whose name I unfortunately missed) was a nice antidote. He was professional, knowledgeable, and relaxed. I wish we could have dealt more with him. Last, the car was advertised online and on the window sticker as a "certified pre-owned" car. This is not the case. The car was "certifiable," meaning that it met all of the criteria for Subaru to certify it. Actually getting it certified (with the accompanying extended warranty on the powertrain) cost us an additional $500. Shane was verbally upfront about this from the beginning, so it didn't cause hard feelings. At the same time, the car was advertised as one thing for a certain price, but in actuality it cost more to be what they advertised it to be. More
I found the car my wife wanted, a santa fe, on the web site. So we called and spoke with C.L. and told him our schedule was so busy that we might have a hard time coming in that day to look at it. So he t site. So we called and spoke with C.L. and told him our schedule was so busy that we might have a hard time coming in that day to look at it. So he took all our info over the phone and via email. We agreed on a price and within a few hrs. C.L. called and said "you have yourself a car". The next day we went to the dealership and C.L. had the car ready for us. We got to see it, loved it and signed the papers which also were ready for us. Now that's buying a car. The service and professionalism C.L. gave was by far the best I've experienced in a dealership. More
