My daughter decided she preferred the Outback, which seemed to me also to be best for her, based on quality, safety, and room to haul her stuff back and forth from Chicago to Mizzou. Looked at used Outbacks and drove them at a couple of dealerships. Was surprised by the limited number available, and somewhat taken aback by the price they were asking for used 2012 and 2013 Outbacks. Nevertheless, I decided to see what was the best available deal in the area. Happened on the Internet sales offers from Grand Subaru and made contact with Sandy Jackson. I not only researched the Grand Subaru's online reviews but also Sandy's which were uniformly enthusiastic, both about their prices and about Sandy's honesty and availability to provide service before, during and after the sale. When we got out there, she offered a new 2014 Outback for only a few dollars more than I had been offered on used ones at other dealers. Moreover, by buying new, I was offered 0% interest for 36 months, meaning that I was buying my daughter a new Outback for less than the used ones we had seen. Maybe insignificant, but she pulled the new car around for my daughter to drive, came back into the waiting room, gave me the dealer license plate and said "Have a nice drive." I said, "Aren't you coming with us." She said no and added that she didn't think we were going to steal the car. I have never before gone on a test drive without the salesman. I assume that they invariably come not to make sure you don't get lost or steal the car but to keep up the sales pitch. Not Sandy. . . . I am a skeptical person and kept looking for the catch, like for example the add ons that other dealers were demanding for their used cars. One had insisted on an $895 add-on for "P.S.C." on a used Outback, essentially easy extra money in the pocket of the dealer. No thank you. Sandy and the entire dealership at Grand Subaru couldn't have been more different than the others, who combined a high level of disorganization, price-gouging, and uninformed salespeople The below dealer inventory price Sandy first offered was exactly what I ultimately paid. Of course she and the business manager proposed various options but I only took one, the 10 year warranty which seems like a good deal as it can be sold with the car. Bottom line anyone interested in Subarus in the Chicago area should make a beeline for Bensenville, and for Sandy in particular. While there, we talked with a man who had traveled down from Madison, WI to buy his Forester from Sandy. She told me that she has customers flying in from Alaska and I can believe it. Incidentally, they are very near O'Hare Airport. More

We scheduled an appointment and they went through the process as quickly as possible. Very friendly, upfront pricing information (you won't find anyone else who beats them), and super accommodating. We also traded in old car so while we were waiting to go through the process, Melissa took that time to get other things done for our transaction. She really made this painless. John the finance director was great! He really worked with us. We really appreciate their friendliness and competitive pricing. We were able to upgrade from the Subaru Impreza to the Outback! We would definitely recommend! More

All dealerships answered with an internet price, but Grand beat them all with the first price quoted. Once I started dealing with Chris the sales person I felt like i was talking with family. We negotiated deeper discounts and sealed the deal. John in finance was also a pleasure to deal with. No high pressure techniques to sell additional vehicle packages. He also explained everything I needed to know. I would recommend this dealership and internet sales person to anyone listening to me. More

This would have made me adjust my seat and take better note of the lack of headroom, which there should be plenty of considering I am only 5'2". They allowed me to trade in that vehicle for another and stated they were taking a loss. They never gave me any paperwork showing options on either, but I do know the requested remote start was never added and without a breakdown of what was in the purchase price I can't say I wasn't charged. I requested a breakdown right after paying the difference in purchase price and a week later have nothing in writing, only a phone call that would offer no proof. After waiting for slips of papers that never appeared I feel taken advantage of. More

He was available to answer all the questions that I had during the entire process (which were numerous). Once my vehicle arrived at Grand Subaru, we set up an appointment to take delivery. The finance team at Grand was able to secure financing at a great rate and gave a fair price for our trade in as well. I could not be happier with my purchase, or with the service that we received at Grand Subaru! Thank you for everything! More
