Patient and educating I was looking for a vehicle that would be able to tow a recently purchased boat. I reviewed Subaru and Toyota. Toyota quickly went out the window and I was looking for a vehicle that would be able to tow a recently purchased boat. I reviewed Subaru and Toyota. Toyota quickly went out the window and I focused on Foresters and Outbacks. I did want a gently used vehicle to help out on price. At Grand Subaru, I worked with Sandy Jackson. She was excellent to work with and gave me a lot of information about how the Subaru is constructed, the value holding power of a Subaru and available options. This convinced me I was looking at the right make of vehicle. I was still on the hook regarding purchase. Sandy did keep in touch with me via email. She never pressured me and gave me her full attention even though I told her a purchase might not come for a few months. At this point however, I knew the make (Subaru) and model (Outback 3.6R) that I wanted to purchase. Surfing the net a couple of months later, I did see the vehicle I wanted with the mileage I was looking for along with options. Although the Subaru was at a dealership in an adjoining state, I knew it was the right find and made the purchase. Subaru has a new customer, thanks to the excellent customer focus and product knowledge of Sandy Jackson. Thanks Sandy! More

A Positive Buying Experience I knew that I wanted a Legacy and based on my nephews recommendation, I went to Grand Subaru. I also used True Care.com for the pricing which worked I knew that I wanted a Legacy and based on my nephews recommendation, I went to Grand Subaru. Made a factory order-- The staff are excellent I ordered a new WRX with the help of Mason, and the experience was very smooth. No hidden costs, or fees--everything is spelled out very easy. To say this dealership was exceptional is an understatement. I never thought it was possible to have a pleasant experience when buying a car but Grand Subaru proved me wrong. Sandy Jackson was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to work with. The best part of it all, no negotiating. I knew, after plenty of research, that I was getting the absolute lowest price for my new Legacy, especially compared to the other dealerships that i made my inquiries to. My father joined me on this experience, in which he at first was not happy about, but when we left the dealer he was raving about Sandy and the finance guy we dealt with. He was in such shock with how kind and honest everyone was to us that I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back next week to get a new car for himself! Overall, Grand Subaru trumps any dealership out there and I HIGHLY recommend them and of course Sandy! More
Great Internet Sales Experience After my wife and I became smitten with the Subaru Forester, we tried negotiating with our local dealer via e-mail. Well, he wasn't having any of it, After my wife and I became smitten with the Subaru Forester, we tried negotiating with our local dealer via e-mail. Well, he wasn't having any of it, and demanded we do the whole "come into the dealership and we'll sit down over coffee and talk about fabric protection" thing. So I emailed five other dealerships out of my area. Of my five, the farthest away was Grand Subaru, by a lot. It was across state lines, too, which added the complication of licensing and taxes. So I was pessimistic about their chances of getting my business. WOW! Melissa Distel was great. She answered my emails right away. She gave me exact price quotes, after all the fees and whatnot. She didn't push any silly dealer options I didn't want. And if that wasn't enough, she beat all the other dealerships on price. (The licensing and tax stuff turned out to be no problem at all, just had to stop by my local DMV when I got home.) It was a long drive over to Grand Subaru, and the whole time I was worried there was going to be some catch. There wasn't. When I walked in, my final bill was the price we had agreed on, to the penny. No surprises. No gimmicks. Everybody at Grand Subaru was super-friendly, and I definitely would recommend anyone it the midwest to consider sending Melissa Distel an email. I'm very happy with my new car, and the sales process to get it. More
