Best dealership This dealership has by far the most outstanding customer service my fiance and I have ever experienced. We have purchased 2 vehicles from them in the This dealership has by far the most outstanding customer service my fiance and I have ever experienced. We have purchased 2 vehicles from them in the last 2 years. With my WRX I had purchased the Zurich interior warranty. Was told they cover punctures. Had a puncture in the back seat, took it to Libertyville and they said they couldn't do anything about it. Took it back to Grand, Zurich said they don't cover that, so the dealership took it upon themselves to take care of this. I can't even explain how pleased we are with them. I live in Antioch (50+ miles away) and have a Subaru dealership right in Kenosha (15 miles away) and I took my WRX there just for a recall and an oil change and they damaged my front bumper. Then tried to cover it up (HORRIBLY, the paint doesn't even match) and lie about it, stating that they thought that's what they were fixing. Then claimed they lost the intake paperwork stating condition of vehicle and what was to be done. They refused to take responsibility and fix it which we were told my Subaru of American while not acceptable (Subaru of America did compensate us a little bit after speaking with the dealership themselves) they were not obligated to fix it. So needless to say, Grand went way above to make right on a company (Zurich) they don't even have obligation towards. They're amazing and have my business for life. I'm also suprised at the experiences with some of the sales reps. We bought both of ours from Sandy Cuttone, and she is the most honest and easy sales rep we have ever worked with. I highly recommend her! If it wasn't for her and Damien we likley would have not gotten this issue resolved. Over 2 years later and they're not on only remembered us but remembered what we thought we purchased. You guys are great! More

Sandy Cuttone was absolutely fantastic to work with. Initially we communicated exclusively over email which was ideal due to my schedule. On purchase day, I went to the dealership. It was a Saturday so the place was a zoo but Sandy got me in and out as fast as possible. Thumbs up and high fives to Sandy on the purchase experience! I would definitely recommend her to friends and family. SERVICE (2 stars): A few days after I took the car home, Subaru announced a massive recall. My car unfortunately had to go in for the fix. My experience with the service department, while not horrible, could have been much better. To be fair, the dealership was going through major renovations so things were a bit hectic I am sure but I called over there 10 separate times and got transferred to the Service department only for them to literally never pick up the phone. Very frustrating. I eventually got the car back but I now get my car serviced elsewhere. More
SUPER patient customer service I had a rough experience at one Subaru dealership, and really no time to drive around to others as much as I would have liked, so I narrowed my choice I had a rough experience at one Subaru dealership, and really no time to drive around to others as much as I would have liked, so I narrowed my choices down to four dealers and began shopping online. The week I planned to purchase, I must have sent Melissa Distel DOZENS of emails in negotiating a price on a new Forester. In the end, she was unable to match the price I wanted, but our interaction was so professional and pleasant, I vowed to give her and Grand a good review regardless. Just great customer service all around, and her willingness to be up front, play no games and give no pressure really made what can normally be a stressful experience anything but. We literally went back and forth all day, and by the of the day, that was the best offer I had. But I had to take it back to my family, and she even understood when I told her I had to confer with my wife, aka "the sheriff," telling me "a happy wife is a happy life." Ain't that the truth. If you're in the market for a Subaru, you can't go wrong with Grand. I had a great dealer two miles from my home, so it was kind of a no-brainer, but if you're near Bensenville or anywhere in the DuPage County area, Grand is the place to go. Melissa and Jeff Schade are both great, and if they're any indication, the rest of their team is as well. More

Helful quadrupled From the first time I was contacted by Melissa and Nealy more than a month ago because of an inquiry I put in to TrueCar, they have been helpful, pat From the first time I was contacted by Melissa and Nealy more than a month ago because of an inquiry I put in to TrueCar, they have been helpful, patient, obliging and downright pleasant on-line, and in Nealy's case, on-line, in person and on the phone. They gave me firm quotes from the beginning and shifted gears as I first made the decision to buy a car, then to buy a Subaru, then from Crosstrek to Impreza hatchback. They always updated me and never betrayed a scintilla of impatience either with my process or with the length of time it was taking me or with my comparing their offers with other dealerships. No nagging. No games. None of that silly and time-wasting and posturing "I have to check with my manager" nonsense. Just cheerful and helpful service. Nealy, in particular, has been outstanding, following up without being intrusive or the least bit aggressive. I bought the car last Thursday and she called today [the following Tuesday] to see how I was doing, how the car was performing and assuring me that should I have questions in the future, she'd be pleased to help. I believe her. I dealt with 3 Subaru dealerships, but this is the one, and these are the folks to whom I'd return and send others to do their car buying business. Brava! More
