Much better than expected! We are very pleased. This automobile buying experience was a new one for my wife and me in several ways. First, it was completely negotiated over the internet via email. This automobile buying experience was a new one for my wife and me in several ways. First, it was completely negotiated over the internet via email. Second, we traveled to Grand Subaru from Bloomington, IN, to complete the purchase instead of buying our car from a local dealer. Third, we started the process through a USAA car buyers program and Grand Subaru contacted us with a great price. Other Subaru dealers that contacted us offered us cars that were different from the model we specified, or were unclear about features of their offers to the point that we could not understand them. Local dealers couldn't meet the Grand Subaru price. We had some email exchanges with Melissa Distel, who is very professional and helpful, but Sandy Cuttone is primarily responsible for creating our very high impression of Grand Subaru. Sandy is outstanding. She handled the majority of our online communication and most of the details of the purchase when we picked up the car. She is very pleasant and personable to work with, knowledgeable of the features and operating procedures of the 2018 Forester Touring, and explained them in a clear, understandable manner. We needed to do a bit of research into the Owner’s Manuals afterward, but that is to be expected for an electronics and navigation package as complicated as the ones packed into the new Touring. Especially noteworthy is her ability to complete the blue tooth linkages between our cell phones and the electronics package. The process took a long time because the usual procedures did not work. Her perseverance save us a lot of trouble for which we are very appreciative. I already recommended Grand Subaru and Sandy to a colleague who was shopping for a car for his daughter. It appears now that his daughter will have to wait for a new car, but I will not hesitate to recommend Grand Subaru again when the occasion presents itself. Overall, my wife and I had a great experience working with Sandy and with Grand Subaru. Our only regret is that we live too far away to have our new Subaru serviced by Grand Subaru. More
