It was time for a new car. Did research and found Subaru has an impressive safety record. Visited Grand Subaru and talked with Cameron Haque. We had a different vehicle also in mind so decided we were gonna sleep on it. No pressure, no ‘this offer ends now’, simply please let us know. Next morning the Forester was purchased. There are over a dozen Subaru dealerships closer to me then this one, but I love Grand Subaru. They give me the most competitive price, they are no pressure, and the service is top notch! Very professional. Everyone is super friendly and the culture is unlike any other dealership I've experienced. They are a no gimmicks and no pushy sales pitch dealership. This is my second new Subaru purchase at Grand in the last 18 months and I can't say enough. With this last purchase, we notice some hood damage that occurred during transit. A gentleman in the service department skipped his lunch to swap out the hood to make sure it didn't delay the delivery process. Vee stepped in to assist with showing us the ropes with the new car and was great. Brandon is a no non-sense finance guy. I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to share this gem. An incredibly positive car-buying experience! I initially contacted this dealer requesting a preliminary price quote on a Crosstrek and an Outback through the Subaru site. I was pleased and, frank I initially contacted this dealer requesting a preliminary price quote on a Crosstrek and an Outback through the Subaru site. I was pleased and, frankly, surprised to receive exactly the quotes I was looking for from Vee Banjac. The quotes included MSRP, invoice, and Grand Subaru price in a no-haggle quote with clear disclosure on Illinois license and documentary fees. When I got serious and contacted Vee directly for a refined quote, I again received exactly what I requested. So I went in to test drive a couple of configurations of Outback. Within minutes of meeting Vee, I sensed that she was the real deal. She was thorough in explaining the features of each vehicle and even let me take the second vehicle out for the test drive on my own. And things only got better from there. The pricing was less than what I’d expected based on Edmunds and the trade I was offered for my nine year old Forester was more generous than the quote I got at Carmax. When I pulled the trigger, Vee found the exact model and trim level I wanted in my preferred color at another dealer and had the car brought up from Indianapolis within 24 hours. Then she found me a couple of Subaru factory coupons I qualified for as a repeat buyer which saved me another $1,000! Seriously, I’ve never had such a positive zero-pressure experience buying a car in my life. Brandon Metz in finance was also pleasant and professional and moved me through the paperwork with speed and accuracy. I’d been dreading the process based on past experiences at other dealers in the area, but now I’m sorry I waited so long to try Grand Subaru.
