Terrible experience I went down to get a 2017 forester left a deposit and all. I was told they would locate a car and that the banks were closed on the weekends and that I went down to get a 2017 forester left a deposit and all. I was told they would locate a car and that the banks were closed on the weekends and that I would hear from them Monday about credit approval. Monday came and went no one called. I called up my salesperson Agata and she told me she hadn't heard anything about locating a car or about my approval. Never once did anyone call me back. I called a week later and was told they couldn't find any on Long Island and were now looking outside of New York. Needless to say I went down to East Hills who had the exact car on their lot and got it for even cheaper and then took it home the next day!!! I went down to Grand Prix and asked for my deposit back, it's a week later still haven't received it. Also never got an apology or any calls on why I wanted it back or what happened from my salesperson. Such a shame, a lot of friends and family got cars through them, and I will never go back there. More

That being said My wife and I recently purchased a 2017 Outback at Grand Prix Subaru. It was a great experience all around. It started with looking at a certified pre-owned car on the internet and speaking with Diane and then turned into us buying a brand new car. We worked with Tom Wheeler and from the moment we walked in the door to when we drove away with our new car he made it easy every step of the way. He was knowledgable and patient, spending hours with us. He allowed us to test drive different cars, helped us compare different models, answered all of our questions and even took the time to show me and my wife how every little thing works in our new car. He frequently offered to get refreshments during any waiting periods and to help with whatever was needed. When it came down to the nitty gritty time of paying for everything the finance manager Francesca was also a very huge help. She was very understanding and accommodating with everything and also had us laughing while we were still spending some money. It was a very pleasant car buying experience and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. We couldn't have done it without Tom, Francesca, and Diane. More
Very positive experience visiting Grand Prix Subaru. Joe Lucci spent time with me, showed me a few Foresters and I test drove one. Had I seen something I was really interested in I would have bought it at Grand Prix. A week or so later I purchased a Forester at another dealer,but I would recommend Grand Prix. More

My first Subaru was bought in Jersey City “Hudson Subaru” and I would never go there again after experiencing TRUE customer service here. Grand Prix Subaru also has a “VIP plus program”, which includes free oil changes, complimentary loaner cars and NYS inspection and more! I had to pay extra for these services in “Hudson Subaru”. This is Big! After " A month of Sundays" I finally convinced my "wife to be" it was time to trade in her 2009 Forester for a new 2017 model. Hesitantly she brought After " A month of Sundays" I finally convinced my "wife to be" it was time to trade in her 2009 Forester for a new 2017 model. Hesitantly she brought me to Grand Prix, her "go to" dealership to just look and before long it was "just maybe" and then bingo; lets do it! A little cajoling from Lora David, vehicle exchange specialist and the professional non-pressure approach from our salesperson Glenn Christian affirmed that the timing was right. Another "stumbling block" was eliminated when the aforementioned "WTB" enthusiastically decided on a 2017 Jasmine Green Forester after never owning any vehicle other than white. This was big! Thanks also to Ray in the Finance Department and Joe Kinder, Grand Prix manager for the culmination of a stress free transaction. More

"A wonderful experience" This is my first Subaru, and my experience working with Grand Prix Subaru was totally positive. It was especially pleasurable working with Roy Wander. This is my first Subaru, and my experience working with Grand Prix Subaru was totally positive. It was especially pleasurable working with Roy Wander. He was extremely informative, helping explain different models and options, including the CrossTrek, Forrester and Outback. In the end we happily chose the 2017 Outback Limited, which best met our needs, concern for safety, fuel economy, style and price range. I would enthusiastically recommend Mr. Wander to anyone looking to purchase a Subaru and would definitely work with him again in the future. Thank you Mr. Wander for a wonderful experience. I love my new car. More

I went in on a Sunday afternoon, and was in and out in Truly the most pleasurable car buying experience I have ever had (and I RARELY write reviews). I went in on a Sunday afternoon, and was in and out in a little under 4 hours (this included seeing the car, test driving it, doing all of the paperwork, and driving it home that same day). This, if you have ever had a previous experience buying a car, is pretty shy of a miracle. I had the absolute great pleasure of being helped by an awesome salesman by the name of Mike Porcelli. He was very polite, and had a great amount of patience. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. If he didn’t know an answer, he would quickly find out, instead of other dealerships where car salesmen will tell you anything you want to hear even if it’s not true. Not once did I feel like I was being pressured to rush into something, or upsold for something I didn’t need. He worked with me on getting a great deal on a 2015 Subaru Legacy, and I have never been happier. This car is awesome!!! Our great experience continued with the in house finance manager, who was in service for 11 years. His name was Roy Voesack. Normally, this is where other dealers fall short. Finance mangers try to sell you last minute things, and get you to finance more than you originally thought of buying; however, Roy was the opposite. He explained everything this dealership had to offer with clarity, and made recommendations on what he believed was the best for me to purchase. He didn’t force anything I didn’t need or try to trick me into wasting my money, rather he answered all of my questions and even got me a discount on a much needed extended warranty. Overall, I’d give this dealership experience an 11/10. From the great salesman and managers, to the car itself, I can honestly say I won’t go anywhere else. Now, I will convince my parents to follow in my steps when it’s time for them to upgrade their car and you can believe where we’re going! Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT bother going anywhere else. I know it’s the name of their program, but you will truly feel like a V.I.P. at Grand Prix Subaru. More

Sales consultant I worked with was Roy Wander, straight forward, competitive price, showed me what they had available, test drive, then made the deal. Picked up the car all went well, inspection, paperwork, no last minute got'yas! once the paperwork was signed. Lets hope Grand Prix does everything they stated going forward with the car! It was a good experience with the whole team I've dealt with so far, Sales (Roy), his sales manager (Ted Hanlon), and the financing rep as well (Ray). Thanks Grand Prix. More
