I’d rather spend my money somewhere else After having a terrible experience being insulted and talked down to by one of the sales people here my wife and I were invited back to try and work o After having a terrible experience being insulted and talked down to by one of the sales people here my wife and I were invited back to try and work out a deal for a certified preowned vehicle we were looking at. This appointment went very well. We met with Daniel and discussed what we were interested in and what we were looking to spend. We didn’t make a purchase that day but left with a hand shake and told Daniel we would keep an eye out for a vehicle we would be interested in. I was even willing to let go of the fact that he never apologized to my wife for how his sales man spoke and treated her. The following week I had noticed a vehicle that didn’t have all the features we wanted but seemed to be in the same price range of the car we were looking at. So I contacted Daniel through email to try and get some information and an idea of what the price was they wanted “out the door.” This is when my experience changed. Daniel became very flaky and wouldn’t answer any questions about price. Finally when I asked him directly to answer my questions about price he gave me an answer with a run around or would just stop responding. At this point my wife and I realized this is not a dealer ship that wants our business. Luckily there are many other Subaru dealers in NYC that are more than willing to be professional and give us a better experience. My experience with Grand Prix Subaru sales staff and management is regretful. I was not satisfied, I was left dissapointed. And Daniel if you read this please do not contact me to follow up. I feel that I would rather spend my money somewhere else. More

I had been shopping around at other local dealers and was not completely happy but Grand Prix gave us exactly what we wanted and made sure it was in our price range. Not the experience I expected My wife and I met with Andre to test drive a certified preowned 2015 Outback. The test drive went great but I noticed a few things different with the vehicle from the listing. Also they listed the vehicle as limited trim but it didn’t have some features that come stock with the limited. After my wife and I discussed if the vehicle met our needs we decided to discuss the price of the car. Having the internet readily available and seeing that other dealerships had cars with similar milage, and year, with all the extra features. When we got to talking about the price the experience changed. I know that buying a car can be stressful and there is some back in forth. But I never expected a sales man to be condescending and insulting to a potential customer. Even at one point insinuating that we didn’t have money to buy a car there. I have never been so insulted. I understand money needs to be made on the vehicle but To treat a customer like they are poor or to talk down to them is unacceptable. When I had asked to speak with a manager he replied. I’ve been doing this 17 years and I’m telling you the same things the manager would say. So now he was answering for the manager. Seeing that the situation would only get worse and he has already upset my pregnant wife we decided to walk out and told him we would keep an eye on the car. That night I went on true car and saw similar vehicles with more features and better milage for the same price. Also a 2016 outback with half the milage of this car, fully loaded, not stock anything, for the same price he offered. I had contacted the dealership to speak with a manager about my experience. Received a call back from Andre who is the last person I want to speak with. So here I am writing this review. To say my experience with this dealer is a regret would be an understatement. Even what we learned wasn’t worth the way we were treated. It is not good bussiness. We were NOT satisfied by Grand Prix Subaru. More

The salesman stayed 3 hours late to finish my sale. Joe Iucci is very informative and made the experience as good as buying a car can be. The finance department however, will try as hard as they can to add extra hidden costs without you noticing. Both times I had this issue. I recommend joe as a salesman and the dealership in general always has a good selection and an excellent service department but if I buy another car there, Im getting my own loan beforehand. More
