Let's count the days before I get a refund. 8/31 Definitely beware of this dealer. As you can see from my previous interactions with them they seem like they “might” be helpful but in reality they’ll lie to you. I spoke with their manager Jenna about the Solterra and we preordered it. Agreed on the price and everything was fine. But before paying the $1000 deposit I made sure to ask if it was refundable for any reason to which she replied yes it was refundable. Fast forward to today and we want to cancel the order. I have an email chain stating that we could get the refund back for our $1000 deposit. Lo and behold the manager now says that it’s a special order and we can’t do that. I told him that I had written confirmation from Jenna that it was refundable. They called back shortly after they read the email chain they WILL provide the refund. The main reason I’m rating this as 1 star is because they would not have given me back the $1000 deposit if I didn’t have that email. *** OLD REVIEW *** 5/16/22 What sets apart one dealership from another? The cars are the same, the prices are (roughly) the same, but it's the customer service. When I had initally written this review I had a horrible experience and left a bad review. Within 24 hours I received a message asking to contact the dealership and speak with a manager. I had very very low expectations and was expecting the dealership to justify their actions regarding their pricing. Jenna followed up with me regarding my issue. She quickly looked into the quote I received and instantly waived the ADM giving me the car at MSRP. The rollout for Solterra was a little rough according to other drivers that pre-ordered the car. Grand Prix really went above and beyond to help me. They were proactive in contacting me when they knew I had an issue. They didn't sit around and wait for my call. This is my second Subaru and I thought I had a pleasant experience with my first Subaru in 2015. I'm really glad I choose Grand Prix Subaru and I will definitely be purchasing my future cars from them! Highly recommend!!! ***** OLD REVIEW ***** I was excited to purchase the new Subaru Solterra which was released in 2022. I did all the right steps in securing a reservation in advance and choosing a well rated dealer. When the MSRP came out ($48,000 - for the Limited trim) Grand Prix was charging over $9,000 on top of that. It's unbelievable how greedy this dealer was. It's also strangely coincidental that between they decided to add a markup in the same amount of federal rebate of $7,500 and $2,000 from NYS combined. They give this rebate to help consumers transition to EV not go into the hands of shady dealerships. More

I was planning on keeping my original Forester forever, but plans change. I bought that car in 2016 at Grand Prix and Paul Perotta was my sales person. I had the good fortune to deal with Paul again this t but plans change. I bought that car in 2016 at Grand Prix and Paul Perotta was my sales person. We went to several Subaru dealers and Grand Prix gave us the best price for the Forester we bought and the best turn in value for the Forester we turned in.
