Having owned my Toyota Corolla for 18 years it was time to let "Little Red" rest. Doing all the preliminary research, we decided to test drive the Subaru products. Days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. As the New Year came in it was time to make a decision. Roy Wander was patient, attentive and instructive. (It had been almost two decades since my last purchase!.) Back and forth. Lease or Buy? Legacy, Outback or Forester? Roy went through all my options, choices, test drives (again). Finalizing the process with Jayson and the rest of their dealership team it was a done deal. I was never rushed. I was never put off and every request and rework of our due diligence for the best possible deal was met with professionalism and courtesy. So, now we say hello to "Big Red" I understand the Subaru logo is a representation of the Pleiades constellation. Wow, That was easy!!! If you are in the market for a new Subaru or just in the market for a new car, there is truly no other place to go but Grand Prix Subaru. My wife and I (and my 2-1/2 year old) were in the market for a new car and with much research on performance, safety, fuel efficiency, and of course style, we decided to go with a Subaru Forester 2.0 XT. The particular vehicle we wanted was very hard to find and I spent a couple of weeks searching different dealerships for that “special car”. Then I saw that Grand Prix Subaru had in its inventory a Metallic Gray, 2.0 XT Touring Forester (we wanted black) and decided to go check it out. When we saw it, we fell in love with it however that particular car was a little out of our price range. We sat down with Jamie Borack, one of the sales associates at Grand Prix, and let me tell you, Jamie was the best sales person we had ever dealt with. She took the time and was very patient explaining to us all of our concerns and questions we had. Knowing that the price was a little higher than what we wanted to pay, Jamie and the unbelievable team of managers (especially Jayson), and finance managers (Jenna); they constructed a loan that not only was within our budget but we actually put less down than we had anticipated. They were the most friendly, non invasive, patient, knowledgeable and courteous sales individuals that we had dealt with and they made the whole car buying experience not only painless but enjoyable. Again, Jamie treated us as we were her last customer and treated us as if we were family. During this whole car buying fiasco, we had our 2 ½ year old running around “terrorizing” everyone and the whole staff at Grand Prix treated her as if she was there own child, niece, granddaughter, or cousin (but my daughter can possibly be the cutest 2 ½ year old out there, haha). There is nothing else I could say but honestly there is no other place to buy a Subaru than Grand Prix Subaru in Hicksville New York. Oh yeah, Jaime also gave us her personal cell phone and offered to babysit our daughter; who does that??? The whole staff catered to our every need, they even drove me home so that I got to work on time. What a place!!! More

I've been to other dealerships where they just want to talk price and not let you experience the test drive. George let me take my time and get a real feel of the car. Best car buying experience ever!!! I came into Grand Prix Subaru looking to purchase a new car. She really cares about you being happy and seeing you get what you want. I couldn't thank her enough. When I was sitting at her desk finishing up all the paperwork past customers of hers came to say hi while they were getting their vehicles serviced. The relationship she has with her customer base is unreal and unheard of. I'm truly thankful to have met her and can't recommend her enough to friends and family in the market for a Subaru . My wife and I decided to ask for Jamie Bo We found this dealer by reviewing everything I could discover online about the experience other people had. My wife and I decided to ask for Jamie Borack based soley on what other people had said over time about her and this plan worked perfectly. During my test drive, Jamie had to show me how to operate the car's power driver seat (my old car has crank windows). She made sure that we selected options and features that suited our needs best; there was no pressure. After we made our decisions regarding the 2015 Forester, we decided to return the following morning to finalize the transaction and select extended warranties with Jenna Donnelly's help. Jamie picked us up at the train station that morning and then proceeded to made sure we knew how everything worked. In fact, she quickly synced my cell phone to the new car, which is something that would have taken me hours to accomplish! No salesperson in my life, ever took the time to demonstrate a new car's features after the sale. Her goal was to make sure we were happy, which helps explains why I took the time to write this review. In the final analysis, we love our new 2015 Subaru and will be spending the next 10 years getting our service performed miles from our Queens home. More
