I really loved the collision center and they could not have been nicer. My truck was beautiful when they finished. They went over and above and Robert was great to work with. But, I want to make this clear - I cannot come back to the dealership at all ( and I purchased my vehicle there) and I cannot recommend the dealership to anyone solely because of Jose Magdalena the Service Department Director. First and formost he is disingenuous, and not transparent in his dealings, which is pretty awful. You would think he would be better at spewing his mistruths since it is a constant stream. He is so ridiculously inept with his story telling that (poor service aside), it is completely insulting. Often it is his staff itrying to do the right thing that exposes him because they are honest. It happened repeatedly. You cannot believe a word the man says. And it gets even worse - when backed into a corner and exposed by his staff, circumstances, or because his mistruths were ridiculous to begin with... Mr, Magdalena does something I have never had anyone else do to me in the field of service - he outright verbally attacks the customer! It was shocking! He had lied to me about work done on my car but an employee had told me the truth. This came out after he was exposed yet again by another employee and yet a different mistruth, I lost count of Mr. Magdalena's lies. I told Mr. Magdalena that I was aware he is a man who will say whatever he thinks will suit himself best, regardless of the truth. His reply was shocking - he said I forced him to lie because I lied to him by not making sure he is aware of everything his employees say to me. What? Unfortunately the man was angry and aggressive in tone and not kidding about this. First of all it is hard to ignore the extent to which Mr. Magdalena made a poor situation worse. It would be far better if he just apologized. I do not think he knows how... And he needs to understand that customers are not responsible for his poor communication with his staff. I will never forget walking all over behind the scenes with this man because I wanted my vehicle back because no one could tell me what had been done to it and I received notice it was done and there was even another future appointment scheduled. The service manager of all people should know where a vehicle they worked on is and what has been done at all times. Instead he did not know and refused to contact an employee that did know. I asked for my vehicle back and drove there to get it after I was passed around on the phone for an hour with no absolute answers. I even warned them I was in my way there. Instead I walked the dealership with Mr. Magdalena who could not find my car and did not know what had been done to it. I told him I could find my keys because (both sets they had) they had airtags. Mr. Magdalena replied that even if I found my keys that they would be locked up and he, the Director of Service, would not be able to get them. I underwent some hardships in my dealings with Mr. Magdalena that crossed the line and would have been unnecessary had he been transparent and had good communication with his staff. More
