My car shopping experience has always been a nightmare... high pressure, pushy salesman, long waits. Not so with this purchase! We had been talking with Duane Blair about our need for a new car for a while, he showed us cars that would fit our desired budget and needs. The day we decided that we were ready, we went into the dealership... and he was out in a test drive with other customers. In hindsight, we should have called and made an appointment :-) We were sitting in one of the two cars we had narrowed it down to when another salesperson approached us. We told him that we had been talking to Duane, and would like to wait for him. He said no problem and to let them know if we needed anything while we waited. After about 15 minutes of us checking out the two cars, another salesperson, Megan, came over to us and said Duane was not back yet and asked if we would like to make an appointment for later in the day? She then asked if we had driven the cars yet. When we said no, she offered to take us out to drive the car while we waited for Duane. She also said not to worry, Duane would still get our sale, but she could help out by taking us to drive them. We went for a test drive and decided on one of them. When we got back to the dealership, Duane had returned and she turned us back over to him. Long story, short... we bought the car from Duane and he and the dealership made the whole process smooth and easy. No pressure, easy financing options, and most important, fast. From the time we decided which car we wanted to being handed the key fob took about 2 hours. Two of my children purchased cars from Duane and Grand Junction Volkswagen prior to us making this purchase and all three purchases were smooth and easy. They take the time to treat you with respect and do not use high pressure tactics. I would highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a new or used car :-) More

At last, a low pressure car dealer in Grand Junction. It was time for my wife to get a "new" car and we found a used Ford sedan on Auto Trader that we wanted to check out. He showed us the car, opened it up and kind of stood back and let us explore. After a test drive, we wanted to go to lunch and instead of the usual pressure, Travis gave us his card and away we went. After a relaxed lunch and discussion, we came back to purchase the Ford. After a little back & forth about the trade-in, Jimmy Stelljes made us the deal we desired. The best thing was we were not stuck at the dealership for a half a day. When it comes time for us to buy another car, Travis will be the first person I see. After we bought the car, we noticed a film on the windows and informed Travis about it. He went the extra mile and had us bring the car back in to get the windows cleaned, free of charge. Butch was also persistent in wanting to work with us in purchasing the car. He was not pushy in anyway, but he was trying to help us be able to buy the car if we really did want it. The finance person, Adam was great at describing the terms about purchasing the car explaining information and also offering extended warranties. He was kind and also patient. We did think that we should have gotten a full tank of gas and had the tires rotated. All in all, it was a great experience purchasing our newer car! More
