Prior to test driving the Explorer, I had my mind fairly set on an Acadia. I did a lot of research online and drove an Acadia and loved it. However, I still wanted to ensure I ruled out the explorer. I was a little taken aback when I couldn't find a 2012, as that's the year I was looking at with the Acadia in hopes of getting a fair price. I ended up at Gordie Boucher in West Bend after finding an interesting Explorer online. Tom called me right away and we set up an appt. When I arrived (a day early) he set me up with Jon Caves. Jon took us on a test drive of the explorer and explained it in great detail. I left that evening, extremely intrigued with the Explorer. To be fair, I drove the Acadia again the next day. It didn't even compare. I was able to get the seat up much higher in the Explorer-nice for short people. And the amenities and services offered in the XLT Explorer are better than the Denali Acadia. The Acadia was more expensive and offered less. I called Jon and left a message to see if he could find me a certain color Explorer. He did a great job and called me immediately when he found out one had been delivered that day. I checked it out and bought a 2013 with 3.5 miles on it. The price they offered for my Pacifica was very fair and the discount for the military was great. Jon was honest, upfront, and very accomodating. He worked hard for our sale. In fact, all the staff was great and very friendly. The woman at the front desk was telling us about her mom's Explorer and how much she loved it. And Tim, the finance guy, was very friendly and helpful. He got us a great interest rate and worked hard for us as well. I've never purchased a brand new vehicle before, and expected it to be much worse than it was. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant experience and would highly recommend the Gordie Boucher Ford dealership in West Bend. More

The whole deal took too long. Every 30 minutes the sales guy would tell us only about an hour longer. Six and a half hours later the deal was done. We were given the vehicle outside in a dim parking lot. Raining and dark so we didn't notice how dirty the truck was. Drove home and the next morning we noticed multiple scatches on the door. The dealership didn't want to here about it and said we had no recourse because we accepted the vehicle. This is supposed to be a NEW F150. My local body shop made it look better but not great. We were from appleton and the sales guy doesn't seem to expect repeat business. Customer service terrible, so I hope I never break down. More
