Car Vandalized at Goodson As a 10-year owner of two Acura TSXs, both of which had all their work done at Goodson, I was horrified to have the Goodson carwash return to me my pr As a 10-year owner of two Acura TSXs, both of which had all their work done at Goodson, I was horrified to have the Goodson carwash return to me my pristine TSX with a slashed leather seat, black gunk ground into the pale leather and a waxy substance smeared all over the windows. I asked the service manager to check the security video and identify the vandal. He said, "It won't show what happened inside the car." I said, "It will show the vandal who got IN the car, and the police can investigate." He refused, falsely claiming that all the carwash guys had been with him for years and are reliable; in fact, I knew Goodson had recently replaced them with an outside contractor! He also said what happened was "normal wear and tear"!!!!! So Goodson insultingly took no responsibility for damaging my vehicle. And, since I'd purchased an extended warranty through Goodson, expecting them to do the warranty work, I now must pay a $100 deductible for each warranty service done elsewhere, which obviously is necessary to avoid further property loss. This misconduct highlights why car dealerships traditionally have sleazy reputations: Unethical practices and well-documented SEXISM. So, women: Ignore Goodson's hype - it's still 1950 at Goodson Acura! More
