I vistied the Goodson Dealership about a week ago in search of a New\Used car and had the oppurtunity to speak with, Brian Smith. Mr. Smith was excellent, he took the time to show me around the facilit search of a New\Used car and had the oppurtunity to speak with, Brian Smith. Mr. Smith was excellent, he took the time to show me around the facility based on my needs and price range. Also, Mr. Smith was very knowledgable about all of the Acura modles and provided great insight to what I was looking for. One thing I would like to mention is, I am not in a position to purchase a car at the moment, but Brian never let that get in the way of our relationship and continued to provide as much information as he could as opposed to my encounter with other salesmen. I have been a loyal Acura Owner for Sometime and I was having a very hard Time finding a specific 2008 Acura TL Type S. I met Erick Strickland one day while Servicing My current 2002 Acura CL last year a having a very hard Time finding a specific 2008 Acura TL Type S. I met Erick Strickland one day while Servicing My current 2002 Acura CL last year at the Goodson Location in Irving. While I was in Service getting my oil changed and tire rotation in the Excellorated Service Department. I was greated by Erick and we just had a very basic conversation about sports. I was especially impressed by Ericks professionalisim and friendliness. He never pushed or became over bearing in the initial meeting. Because or Erick Sticklands Professional and Cordial approach I was very impressed and asked for his buisness card. I later contacted Erick and described the specific 2008 Acura Tl Type S I was looking for with low miles. I knew in advance this would be a difficult find because of the popularity of the vehicle and the rarity. However Erick Strickland was very positive that he could deliver for me the vehicle I was looking for. After a few attempts and several contacts and Erick was very thourough in his follow up and never pushy. I continued to stay in touch with Erick all based on the very first approach and impression. Finally one sunny day I was in California about to purchase a vehicle there while on a buisness trip I recieved a phone call and my assistant tells me its Erick Stricland with Goodson Acura of Dallas. I answered the phone and was told that Erick had the Car on location and it was ready for delivery and he was holding it specifically for me. I asked Erick to e-mail me pictures an the vehicle information and he already sent them to my e-mail address so before I could even finally get the question out the information was already availble. I then asked to speak with Kevin Patterson the Certified Pre-Owned Director and he said the car was waiting on me and we closed the sale over the phone with the intent to purchase as long as the test drive checked out when I arrived back into Dallas. Needless to say I am a proud owner of this 2008 Acura TL Type S that my son so desperatly wated for his 16th birthday. I recommend Goodson Acura, Erick Strickland and Kevin Patterson to anyone looking for any type of Certified Pre-owned Acura or Slightly pre-owned vehicle regardless of the type your looking for. When these people say they will deliver they completly follow through on time as promissed. The integrity of This Staff and Dealership is truely Amazing. If more buisneses would follow the same apporach as this dealership there would be alot more successfull happy customers such as my self happy to write recomendations and reviews. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! As a single woman, the thing that intimidates me the very most is dealing with my car. Imagine my surprise when I drove up for my appointment and this young whisp of a woman walk that intimidates me the very most is dealing with my car. Imagine my surprise when I drove up for my appointment and this young whisp of a woman walked out to greet me. Her name is Megan Paris. She immediately started talking about engine mounts, carburators, drive trains, u-joints . . . all sorts of words that normally scare the heck out of me! She was so knowledgable and she listened to me fumble through my list of what I thought was wrong with my car. SHE LISTENED - and I trusted her immediately! She explained things to me - she demonstrated how things should work - and went toe-to-toe with my extended warranty provider (not Acura) to make sure I was getting as much coverage as possible. She kept me informed every step of the way, always stuck to her time commitments, and made sure I was completely satisfied before she let me drive off the lot. I recommend Megan Paris at Goodson to anyone, man or woman, who wants to know that their vehicle is being well cared for and that they, the customer, are truly the first priority. Not only will I go there with any service concerns, but because of Megan's thoroughness and professionalism, when the time comes, I will DEFINITELY go there to purchase a new Acura. Goodson Acura is the only dealership I ever do business with now. I have purchased 1 certified used and 2 new vehicles from them to include using the service department for all maintenance required. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and I find their no-pressure sales atmosphere truly refreshing when compared to other dealerships from my past. Most importantly their prices were outstanding when compared to Kelley’s Blue Book. Lastly, I only trust Goodson Acura to service my vehicle because they are straight up open and honest for maintenance required and have never performed unneeded maintenance. This review is with focus on the person that is always available whenever I do need attention. Bobby Srianant is the kind of person you want as a "first impression person" for any company really. He is a very professional person mixed with a warm personality that makes anyone feel at ease. His patience is outstanding and somehow it does not matter wether I drive in in the morning or late afternoon, Bobby is still the same kind person with an open ear for my special needs I always seem to have. His detailed knowledge of cars is impressive and astounds me often. A number of years go I expressed my admiration about this young man to the manager and by now I would like to emphasize it even more. He makes sure that my car is taken care of and ready when I want it. The service itself has always been very good and I do not recall a single argument about what was done and what I think should have been done to my car.
