He was a no xx guy & that was exactly what I was looking for. He took his time to find me the right car, no drama no haggling I got a good price on a car I am really happy with. Juan helped me with financing & took his time explaining everything in detail & gave me some good tips on credit. Over all it was a great experience I would definitely recommend Bob Mothers he was great to deal with. James More

Service was completed I brought my 2011 RDX in for routine maintenance and mentioned to Ariel (my service adviser) that my tire pressure light was on. Service was completed along with a full inspection on my car. Upon completion of service I was informed that my tire had a whole near the sidewall and could not be repaired. Ariel offered me a choice for a replacement, but I declined as I had a purchased them with warranty at different tire store. Not only did she inform me where one of these stores was nearby, she called them for me to make sure they would be there for me once I left. She had true concern for my situation and went above and beyond to make sure that I would be taken care of the most cost effective way. Ariel and Goodson Acura have a customer for life here! Thank You, Karen More

One time a salesperson said they had a vehicle, the next time it was gone. One time they said they couldn't take my 2004 GM SUV as a trade because of the "liability," the next time they offered me something for the trade. BTW, no other dealer ever said they wouldn't take my trade. When they'd send me buy orders, the sales tax was never correct. When I'd get buy orders from other dealers, the sales tax was correct to the penny. Goodson always seemed to add $80-$90 to the sales tax. But what really made me mad was when I told the salesperson that McDavid Acura was offering $1500 more for my trade in than Goodson was. Next thing I know, the salesperson sends me a buy order that matches McDavid's trade in offer but also has the words "Tonight Deal" handwritten across it and a line where I guess I was supposed to sign. In other words, upper management was giving me an ultimatum-either drive across town to sign the paperwork that night or the deal was off. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? And I was no slouchy buyer--I had a clean title on the trade and had already obtained financing from my credit union. In comparison, McDavid was very professional in all my dealings with them. They'd send me buy orders where tax was correct, and they never pressured me. If I were to buy an Acura, I'd never go back to Goodson. More
Bait & Switch, Good Cop vs. Bad Cop, High Pressure Sales Since I live quite a distance from Goodson Acura, I called ahead of time to try and get an idea if visiting the dealership would be worth my time. I s Since I live quite a distance from Goodson Acura, I called ahead of time to try and get an idea if visiting the dealership would be worth my time. I spoke with Greg Blake and inquired about the sales price of a vehicle I was interested in leasing a car for three years, 12,000 miles and NO DOWN PAYMENT. Greg confirmed he had the vehicle in stock and asked for my name and phone number so he could check the price with his sales manager, Amir Eskandar, and return my call. Since I wasn’t in a hurry, I offered to patiently wait on hold. Greg responded by saying he noticed from across the sales floor that his sales manager had three or four people and it could take a while to get back with me, so it would be better to get my contact information and follow up with me. I thanked him for his courtesy, but declined to provide my information and again offered to wait on hold. I could hear frustration in his voice as he placed me on hold to check with his sales manager. Not surprisingly, Greg returned to our call not more than a few moments later. However, surprisingly, the price he quoted was only $200 over invoice and approximately $3,000 under MSRP, which made me suspicious. Nonetheless, I decided to drive to Goodson Acura as a measure of good faith to Greg since he was at least willing to discuss initial cost figures over the phone. I informed Greg I would be arriving within the next 60-90 minutes. Upon my arrival at Goodson, I intentionally didn't notify the receptionist of my arrival. I did this to see how Greg might be interacting with other customers. After a few minutes of walking around the showroom, I passed Greg's office where he was working on his computer. Taking a moment to think about our phone conversation, Greg had stated that he could see his sales manager's office from his own. After a quick look around, I concluded this was a lie as Greg's office is on the rear side of the sales floor with no direct view of the sales management office. I then proceeded to knock on Greg's door and introduce myself by my first name only. I told Greg I would like to discuss leasing a car for three years, 12,000 miles and NO DOWN PAYMENT. I also informed Greg I'm experienced with car buying and leasing, and the last dealership who played games lost my business after they tried using sleazy sales tactics - just a subtle hint that I wasn't willing to deal with any shenanigans. Greg typed some things on his computer keyboard for a few moments, stood up, and said he would return momentarily with some numbers. When he did, the numbers were again surprisingly low - particularly the payments - and I became even more suspicious. After discussing the figures with Greg, I suggested we compare the car we were discussing with a car one trim level up. Again, Greg momentarily left his office to speak with his sales manager. However, this time Greg returned with his sales manager, Amir Eskandar, who introduced himself and took a seat in Greg’s chair at Greg’s desk, while Greg sat to the side where a customer would usually sit. I could tell by Amir’s appearance and tone of voice, he considers himself an alpha male. So, I asked Greg why he would suddenly involve his sales manager, to which Amir interrupted my inquiry by saying he’s involved in all sales transactions. To which I responded by asking if they were planning to play good cop vs. bad cop with me. Despite my continued suspicion, both Amir and Greg assured me this was not the case. Quickly changing the subject, Amir presented me with a worksheet detailing monthly payments. This is a classic tactic car salesmen use where they get buyers to focus on short-term figures, like monthly payments, instead of long-term figures like the MSRP, sales price, fees, financing, and cost reductions such as down payments. Strike one. Though Amir did mention he was able to use a tax credit to reduce the price, he mentioned he only had one left and said another dealership in the area was out of tax credits. Little did Amir know, I had discussed a lease earlier that day with the very dealership Amir mentioned, which said they had several tax credits. High-pressure sales? No thanks, strike two. Amir and I continued to discuss the figures, which were based on three monthly payment options rather than the MSRP, sales price, etc. I noticed all the monthly payment options were based on increasing down payment amounts and pointed this out to Amir, and reminded him that I had intended on leasing the vehicle with NO DOWN PAYMENT. I then turned to Greg and asked him why these figures included a down payment when I made it very clear I had not intention of making one. The dumbfounded look on Greg’s face was priceless. He literally shrugged his shoulders, rolled his eyes, and looked away momentarily. Amir quickly interjected and asked the all too common car salesman question, “What do we need to do to earn your business?” Amir knows the answer to this, Greg knows the answer to this, and I know the answer to this – who doesn’t? I told him I wanted to focus on the sales price of the car instead of the monthly payments. Amir then quickly responded by reminding me of the tax credits and low monthly payments, to which I responded with a blank stare. Amir again asked, what other information do I need. At that point, I lost all trust in both Amir and Greg. I looked Amir straight in the eyes and told him I wanted the Net Capitalized Cost of the car I was interested in leasing. Amir then responded by saying he didn’t want to argue with me and our conversation was over. Strike three. I responded by asking Amir, “Who’s arguing? I’m trying to discuss leasing figures and you’re being unprofessional.” Amir quickly exited Greg’s office and returned to the sales floor. I stood up, sarcastically thanked Greg for wasting my time. let him know Amir had just lost him a sale and I wouldn’t be returning to Goodson Acura ever again. And I meant it. More

Initially, I was told they would require a $130 fee to even look for the problem. After asking why this wasn’t covered by my warranty, the agent confirmed it would be covered and their technician did hear the noise. Since they didn’t have the necessary staff working on Sunday to diagnose the problem, I was given a loaner car. The next day I returned to pick up my house keys and phone charger. Conveniently, my car was in the wash and they claimed to have solved the problem. Since I hadn’t received a call saying they had solved the problem, I was a bit concerned but happy to have my car back. Immediately after leaving the dealership, the high pitched whining sound was easily audible. At this point, I called Goodson Acura Service center and told them the other service had just lied to me about a repair and returned my car in the same condition. The Goodson Acura Service Center understood my concern and we scheduled a service visit. The next day, the Goodson Acura was able to diagnose the propeller shaft as the issue and the maintenance was performed the same day, at no cost! I would strongly recommend the Goodson Acura Service Center and will never use the other dealership again. More

He told me to co I saw a car featured on the internet so I called and spoke with Greg Mathis. I told him what I was looking for and the price range. He told me to come over and he would see that I was taken care of. I drove on to the lot and was met by Allen Carreno who was waiting with the car I wanted to look at. We took a test drive and I told him I wanted to buy the car if the price was right. In comes Greg Mathis and he agreed to the price I told him I wanted to pay. The initial price quote was drawn up and included in the price was a $399. security etching that I was told was mandatory from the dealer. I told them I did not want it. Allen checked with Greg and it the charge was removed. I was then sent to see Juan Medina, Finance. Juan was friendly, quick and made it painless!! This was the BEST car dealer experience I have ever had!! I would definitely recommend Goodson Acura in Dallas. More
Israel was vey knowledgeable about VW's even though I had done plenty of research beforehand he still taught me some things. Everyone was friendly and no one pushed me into a car I didn't want. The loc I had done plenty of research beforehand he still taught me some things. Everyone was friendly and no one pushed me into a car I didn't want. The location was easy to find and easy to get in and out of with adequate parking. All in all you could tell they were just good people and don't want to mess around and use usual scare tactics to get you into a car you don't want. I would recommend them to family friends or anybody who is looking for a car. More
I have been an Acura fan for a long time, but this was my first Acura purchase. We live in Tyler, so a lot of contact with Goodson was done by phone, text and email. From the initial dealership contact to ha first Acura purchase. We live in Tyler, so a lot of contact with Goodson was done by phone, text and email. From the initial dealership contact to handing the keys over to our new car, my wife and I could not have been more pleased with the purchase experience. Mikala made first contact with me and texted pictures of the model in which we were interested. I had some questions about differences between FWD and AWD , so Mikala referred me to Ashleigh Rawson. She answered all of my questions by phone, text and email. We then got serious about purchase and filled out the online credit app. Wade West contacted me by phone and email to confirm the dealership had received the app and to tell me we qualified for Acura special financing. Then Ashleigh really went to work. She secured the color combination we wanted from another dealership and went there herself to get it. She kept me completely appraised of each step along the way including a rough estimate of our trade value. I cannot say enough about Ashleigh's hard work. She really helped us immensely from beginning to end. Once we got to the dealership, Mikala introduced us to the dealership and then to Ashleigh. We test drove the 2014 Graphite Luster MDX and were sold! The purchase process in Finance with Paul Roberts went very smoothly and low key-no pressure-and the vehicle was ours. A note about integrity here. I used AAA buying service to price the vehicle which was very good. This price only pertains to vehicles in stock and since Goodson had to find a vehicle from another dealership, there was no obligation or requirement to honor it. However, they did just that. I really feel like we got a good deal on great vehicle from a premier dealership. Now we get to enjoy the advantages of being an Acura owner! Thank you Goodson! More
I went here to test drive and purchase a 2012 Acura. Found a car I liked and entered into negotiations. Allen was very friendly and nice to work with. We negotiated on a price and landed on a deal. T Found a car I liked and entered into negotiations. Allen was very friendly and nice to work with. We negotiated on a price and landed on a deal. This part took a while. He went back and forth with his boss, he even came out twice to confirm with what was written on the sheet. We also had an issue, even though the car was labeled as "Certified Preowned" on the website and on the carfax, they had not done the certification and then tried to upsell me to get it. They car was going to need new brakes as well to meet the standard. This is very deceptive! I was then handed off to financing. The finance guy tried to sell me on financing. I already had this pre-arranged so I declined. After that, he confirmed the pricing with me without showing me any documents and all of the sudden it was $2000 higher than we agreed with the Sales Rep and Manager. He then went to get the sales manager. He came in and told me he did the math wrong, he thought that the price he was now claiming he offered, $26000 sale minus $8000 trade in he miscalculated as at a $16000 differential and just now realized it was $18000. I feel like after they realized I was not buying any part upgrades, required them to follow through on their advertised "Certrified pre-owned" title, and didnt finance with them, they changed their mind and decided to deny me the deal. Mind you, this process wasted 3 hours of my time they could have saved me by being up front and honest. More

I was able to payment for exactly what they tell you they are and is they are not able to they will provide and honest answer as to why they cannot. I was able to find out what I was approved for and how much my payments would be. They put me in a wonder car at car payments that are very resonable.
