Let me first state that my purchase was smooth, quick, & easy! The salesman did his job extremely well... However... I was not as thorough as I should have been. I was made aware of the vehicle being in 2 accidents, and I still passed it off as minor &/or cosmetic. The car is no doubt beautiful, but after owning it for 2 months, I'm really regretting my purchase. Check engine light has come on 3 different times presenting different codes, and this last time the engine light was flashing... Not drivable at this point. Immediately after purchase, I noticed a squealing noise coming from the passenger windows. The windows were unaligned inside the door. Also noticed the trim along the front passenger wheel was not attached at the top. After further investigation we discovered that the entire trim piece was only glued into place because all the body clips were missing. After driving the vehicle for 3 days, I tried to clean my windshield while going down the road and realized there was no washer fluid in the reservoir. Not a big deal overall, but I was told before purchase that all fluids had been checked and topped off. When I went to fill the reservoir, I realized there's no cap on it at all... Then comes the first check engine light only a week after purchase. It says low coolant level, and I wasn't shocked to find that the coolant level was indeed low. After another week of driving the vehicle, the check engine light comes on again... This time we take the car back to the dealership. They diagnosed the issue as a defective grill shutter, and replaced the shutter at no cost. After driving the vehicle for 2 days, the check engine light comes on again with a code indicating the camshaft/crankshaft position sensor may have an issue. The light eventually started flashing & I stopped driving the car. At this time it's idling terribly. I messaged my salesman and expressed my concerns. He did respond and told me that I was more than welcome to bring the car back in for another diagnostic and then we could discuss my options. Knowing that my 30 day warranty is up, I decided not to do that. (I had asked about them possibly buying the vehicle back from me, and I was told "we don't do that here") We pulled the air filters out just from curiosity, and the original manufacturer filters were still in a 9 year old car! At that point I decided that the oil change & tune-up that Godspeed had done before the sale was extremely suspect... We did the oil change & changed the spark plugs, also replaced the battery just in case. I'm currently waiting on camshaft and crankshaft sensors to come in so that we can change them out as well. I accept accountability in the matter because I did knowingly purchase a wrecked 9 year old vehicle, without doing an extensive look over the car! The car was sold "As Is"... I signed all the documents... However, I do feel that Godspeed's techs may be rushing through inspections & repairs in preparation to sale these vehicles. I do not believe that the typical "changed all filters & topped all fluids" was performed on my car. Please just be more thorough than I was before purchasing from this dealership. Pop the hood & pull the dipstick yourself! Take a flashlight & look at the levels on those plastic reservoirs! Take your time!! Because honestly my hurried purchase has made me sick since week 2... And in 2 months, I've only driven my car for a total of 12 days... It's not a purchase that I'm proud of. More
