First things first I am so pleased in the way that Mr. Tyler Jones took the time and care that was needed in order to meet what I was looking for in a Jeep. I had a very good experience with Blake. He was very up front and honest I feel. He didn’t feel like the normal, “tell you what you want to hear” salesman. He wasn’t pushy and made me feel like he actually listened to what I was looking for. Brian was great too. Now, on to why I rated it 3-stars. I bought a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. Beautiful truck, I am so pleased with it so far. However, when I took it for a test-drive I immediately smelled a cat odor. The seats were frayed from where it looked like a cat had clawed at it. (which was an easy fix with a depiller from Amazon), the windshield had a chip in it and when I brought it up, I was told it was sealed by the dealership and if it spidered, it was on a 1-year Warranty. The heated seats do not work, (thank god I caught it during the test drive because I was told it was an $800 part) I had a friend who bought a vehicle from them the same day I did, and they said their vehicle also had a odor in it. The vehicle also did not have any floor mats, not even factory. I was told some would be put in and they weren’t. None of the above is necessarily Blake’s fault, thats why he gets 5-stars. I feel like whoever acquires the used vehicles doesn’t do a very good job of inspecting them prior to putting them on the lot. The seats could have been shampooed, the windshield replaced, and if they did a thorough check when they first bought the vehicle they would’ve found the heated seats didn’t work. As I said, I am thankful I found it before I bought it because then it would’ve been my responsibility to fix. Ive only had the vehicle about 2 weeks, and it makes me nervous about what else is defective that I just haven’t found yet. So overall, I enjoyed my experience at Gloucester Toyota and would recommend them to my friends or family. However, I would caution them to do their own look over of the vehicle to ensure they aren’t blindsided. More
