My daughter and husband purchased an eclipse with my car as a trade in. First, they told my daughter she qualified for the purchase of the car. and they would accept $6000 as a trade in for my car. They l as a trade in. First, they told my daughter she qualified for the purchase of the car. and they would accept $6000 as a trade in for my car. They let her keep it for the weekend and on that monday the salesman called telling us we had to get insurance for her. while going back and forth with my insurance company we learned the car was insured in my husbands name and the car was purchase as a joint account. we then spent 4hrs in the dealership we were told the payments would be between $200 -$300 we signed over the car and was brought into another office only to be told the minimum payment would be $424 and there was no recourse because we had signed all of the papers and that it was our car. We are now seeking legal counsel. the finance people had a very nasty attitude. the wait time is too long and their friendliness is lousy. More
I will keep my rating short and sweet. I went to this dealership a couple of times because I am currently looking for a reliable cost-efficent car. I originally went with a friend and when we got there, dealership a couple of times because I am currently looking for a reliable cost-efficent car. I originally went with a friend and when we got there, the sales guy, didn't even acknowledge me. So, because he assumed I wasn't buying, I remained silent. We were both turned off by his treatment and left and went to another dealership. However, I did see a car that I liked and decided on my own to give them another try but through the internet. The service started okay, but when I started asking questions, I didn't get an answer for two days, by then I had seen 3 other cars of interest. I called out of courtesy to tell the sales agent that I wasn't interested at this time. The sales agent proceeded to talk to me and I expressed that she didn't answer my email fast enough and so I thought she was not interested in doing business. I then decided that next weekend to stop by, because I was on my way to another dealership. Let me just say, there was no one who introduced themselves, and I had to find a sales agent on my own. When I finally found one he was filled with humor and jokes. I wasn't in the mood. I wanted to test-drive the car, I didn't care about who I had dealt with before, I was about the car and not them. I had to haggle over giving them my driver license which I wouldn't do, because I know what they do with it. Even though at the other dealership I had no problems driving their car without one. Anyway, I got "permission" to drive it around their lot. (LOL). Then the battery of the car was dead and needed a jump. Finally, it smelled of mildew like it was in water. My experience was absolutely horrible. I wanted to get out that car and run. Yet the sales agent was trying to convince me that I could get the deal of a lifetime. Honestly? Really? Do you think? I got out of the car gladly, I could breathe again, and went inside in which he was now trying to get numbers out of me. Okay he was doing his job, but I told him I wasn't ready to talk money. As he said my guns were in my pocket...actually my guns were not even considering to go out...the car was horrible. And any sane person would have not talked any money over it...plus it felt small. Then he tried to get his manager or probably another sales agent to speak to me what we call a T.O., at this point I wasn't going to be convinced of anything, but I liked his reserve...much better. When it was clear I wasn't going to purchase the car. The first sales guy changed up and wanted to kick me out. Well I felt at this point, I had no intentions of doing business with them at all not even for a 4 cyclinder. Which I considered until all this happened. Then I receive an email from the internet sales agent asking about my test drive. I didn't care she knew I was out there. I didn't care if the whole dealership knew. My first gut was right and I am glad I tested them again and again. I know a dealership has to make money. I don't have problems with that but I do have problems with the lack of professionalism, reliablity, and consistency. The sales guy said he never had a customer like me before. I assumed he meant someone who knew something about the game and was a woman. I would not recommend Global Auto Mall. I tested them three times and they failed. Simply. More
sales guys (Roman) are ok. but if you go for financing, they add lot of optional items by misleading you with fine print. this will cost you lot of extra money since they add up to the amount to be finance they add lot of optional items by misleading you with fine print. this will cost you lot of extra money since they add up to the amount to be financed. if you go back to cancel these options, they make you run around. they give misleading statements so that you will not cancel the options. they behave rudely. when i requested to be treated like a customer, Marco told me that since they sell so many vehicles everyday and they do not care about me or other customers. recently when my car got into an accident & got totalled, i bought the car from another dealer & it was a pleasant experience. i have to buy another car for my wife in the next few months & i will not go to Global ever in my life. i will not recommend this dealer to any one. custom relations director & general manager seemed to be helpful but probably could not take action against these guys. i complained to manufactuer (Hyundai) during a survey. but again i did not see any action from them.
