I purchased my Hyundai Sante Fe from Global Automall 4 years ago and I have had all service performed at dealership. I have always had an excellent experience at Global. From the first time I met Greg T years ago and I have had all service performed at dealership. I have always had an excellent experience at Global. From the first time I met Greg Terracciano, at my first service appointment, he was very professional and friendly and I knew I wanted him to be my service advisor from that point on. From the first service appointment, to my last one on June 22, 2011, Greg took care of me like I was the most important customer in the world. He makes me feel comfortable and goes out of his way to make sure I am well taken cared of. After dealing with Greg for over 4 years, I feel like he is a dear friend of mine that I look forward to seeing when I come in for service. The whole staff at the service department are friendly and professional and I can not see myself going anywhere else for service for my vehicle. The prices are good and all the work performed on my vehicle, up to now, was done very efficiently and in a timely manner. I am a very satisfied customer of Global Automall, and plan on being just that for quite a while! More
The front desk of the service station were very friendly. Mr. Terracciano (service consultant) first took another customer who came in 30 minutes after I did and then he informed me that the service I was t Mr. Terracciano (service consultant) first took another customer who came in 30 minutes after I did and then he informed me that the service I was there for (oil change and rotation of tires) would not take long. Mind you, I went to the dealership at 9:00 am and was informed that I should be completed by 12:00 pm. 12:00 pm comes and I do not receive a telephone call from Mr. Terracciano until after 1:30 pm informing that my Jeep Wrangler is NOW at 1:30 pm having the oil change and tires rotated. Thank goodness I decided NOT to stay at the dealership waiting for my Wrangler. I finally receive the telephone call that my Wrangler's work is completed at 3:00 pm. You can do the math, (got call at 1:30 and work done at 3:00 = 1.5 hours), dropped off the Wrangler at 9:00 am and work done at 3:00 = 6 hours. The only saving grace for this service department was a mechanic named John, who greeted me, assisted me by telling Mr. Terracciano that I was here waiting before the other customer, apologized for the lateness and could not come up with any excuse for this kind of service. On top of all this mess, I was informed that I was going to have my Wrangler washed. Let me say, it was such a horrible job. I know my kids could have washing my Wrangler better then the dealership. There was still pollen on my hood, bugs on my hood and grill, my tires were so dirty that it looked like it never even had water touch them. I touched my hood, grill and tires to see maybe it was just the lighting hitting it wrong. Not to my surprise, it was dirty. I do not recommend having them wash your vehicle because you would get better service if you took it to a coin operated car wash and did it yourself! Please be aware that if you do decide to get your vehicle serviced with them that you do not care if it takes 6 hours for a routine oil change and tire rotation. The reason why I said I recommend the dealership is because my salesman Greg DeNiro, found out that I was there and wanted to assist me with the problem immediately. I purchased my Wrangler a year ago! He remembered me, courteous and very professional! I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Mr. DeNiro. I believe Mr. DeNiro and John (mechanic) saved this customer from leaving Global Auto Mall. More
I am a 24 year old male, living locally in the area of Global. I had been car shopping for roughly 2 weeks before entering Global. I was hesitant to enter as my parents bought a Kia from them about 6 mont Global. I had been car shopping for roughly 2 weeks before entering Global. I was hesitant to enter as my parents bought a Kia from them about 6 months earlier and were very unhappy. Global was advertising a deal on TV and through some "paperwork magic" were able to switch out that deal and my parents signed for a price higher than advertised after specifically asking if it was the deal on TV to which they answered "Yes". (However, buyer beware, I suppose.) But as my options were dwindling I entered Global. I was in search of a new 2011 Chevy Camaro. As a disclaimer, I must say that my salesman was a nice guy and I actually was ready to sign some paperwork (in fact, I did.. they checked my credit which they assured me would NOT affect my credit score because it was not being checked "through a bank", which I now know was false as any credit check in search of a loan will lower your score.. albeit a small impact.) I initialed to confirm my selected options, and was ready to purchase. I was surprised as I was offered a relatively low price without much haggling. But as they say, if it seems too good to be true it probably is. When the final dotted line came out I saw a laundry list of taxes and fees including a $400 documentation fee and a $300 clerical fee (amongst several others). At this point I talked to the sales manager. He arrived and when I asked for a simple explanation of the purpose of each fee I was met with glib responses. He could not distinguish for me the difference between the documentation fee and the clerical fee (which were my main points as they were sky high). According to him it was the "rate of the girls upstairs", as if they were charging $1000/hour to register my vehicle (on top of the actual NJ motor vehicle dept. 4 year documentation cost of $400). As I could not get a straight answer out of the sales manager and was met with a lot of dealer pressure, I (wisely) told him I could not justify to myself paying all of those fees and I felt like I was being ripped off. To which he responded that the fees at Global were "the lowest I would find anywhere" (not surprising). Then he quickly ripped up my paperwork in frustration right in front of me before I could stand up to leave and briskly walked away before I did. One last false statement I was told was that a spare tire option was not available on the 2011 models that were still being built (as it was near the end of the 2011 run) because for 2012 they were not offering a spare as an option, only the tire sealant. I believed this but now realize that was another falsehood as I personally have bought a 2012 Camaro from a different dealer with a spare tire included by the manufacturer. I don’t know what the motivation to deprive me of a spare was, but worth mentioning none-the-less. To conclude, I will not say to avoid Global because I realize that despite my parents' and my bad experiences there, I am sure there are a few good eggs in that huge building trying to make an honest living, just hope you don’t need to talk to the sales manager for anything. What I will say, however, is please do not enter that building without doing ALL of your homework as they will likely try to squeeze every penny out of you. I ended buying a 2012 Camaro from Wigder Chevy in Livingston, NJ. They were great and I got a good price. Also: their doc fee was similar, but the clerical fee was ~$50, and there were no other fees over $10 (besides tax). More

As a senior citizen, and a driver for more than 50 years, I have never purchased anything but a new car, and needless to say, I have had numerous experiences that have ranged from awful, to pretty good. For I have never purchased anything but a new car, and needless to say, I have had numerous experiences that have ranged from awful, to pretty good. For starters, purchasing my 2007 Hundai Sonata was a pleasant experience, when it could easily have been a disaster. I had to get out from under a vehicle I had been leasing which was beginning to give me trouble and was 20,000+ miles over my allotment. The then, new car manager worked with me for close to 2 hours, creating a deal for me that was very satisfactory. Subsequently, from my very first service to the latest (June 13) with my vehicle no longer under warranty, I have never had a single complaint. From the receptionist, to my first Service Rep. Gregg, who took care of me until yesterday, when I met my new Rep. Angelica, they recognize me when I walk in, they know my name, have always treated me with the utmost respect and make feel feel at home, even though I have never made an appointment for service. When I have the time, I drive in and when I am in a hurry (which is often)they get me in and out as quickly as possible. I have never felt uncertain that any service recommended by them was not necessary. More simply stated, this is the best dealership, especially the service dept. that I have ever dealt with. I have, and will continue to recommend them to anyone. Respectfully, Carmen Mastrangelo More
I have been to Global Auto Mall for service for two cars (Chevrolet and Jeep). Truthfully my last service experiences for the Jeep were most discerning and I truly was uncomfortable returning for service. H (Chevrolet and Jeep). Truthfully my last service experiences for the Jeep were most discerning and I truly was uncomfortable returning for service. However, since I prepaid for oil changes for 36 months, I returned. My service consultant, Greg, was very courteous and extremely helpful. Since I felt that he had my best interest at heart I asked that my brakes be checked. I mentioned that my last visit was a nightmare (over 3 hours) and I was "forwarned" that I needed the service done that was suggested (over 600.00).... I didnt and brought the Jeep to my own repairman and had the work done that was absolutely necessary for half the price. Greg was very quick, concise and keep the price affordable and respectful. In summary, I was very satisfied and will return without hesitation to Greg. More
