I feel valued as a customer and some of the sales and service reps have even become friendly with my family and I. Tom Nesbit has really been a pleasure to deal with and get to know over the years. I trust him 100% to take care of us and ensure that we get the service and treatment that is important to us and sets them apart from other dealers. We have had many bad experiences, but when we bought our first car from Global and had such a positive experience during regular service, we were so pleased that we never wanted to go anywhere else. That has continued through the years. Even if an issue arises, they are quick to resolve it without hassle. Tom and the service team at Global have earned our loyalty, praise and appreciation. More
I recently purchased a Kia Optima SX from Global Auto Mall. Don Spann was the salesman. He was extremely helpful. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Joe Wilson of the finance department made financing a breeze. I purchased a warranty through Joe and it really came in handy. Two weeks after purchasing the car, I was driving my wife home from the hospital. I ran over a pot hole. It destroyed my tire as well as the wheel. I called the insurance company and they did not yet have the contract on file. I called Kia Roadside Assistance and they sent someone to change my tire. He arrived within 30 minutes. Subsequently, I drove to Global and informed them of my plight. I spoke with Debbie Skelton, a Service Consultant. She could not have been friendlier or more helpful. She took my contract, called the insurance company and within 2 hours I had a new tire and rim without a penny out of pocket. Debbie was phenomenal to deal with. I could not recommend a dealer any more enthusiastically. More
Car was under waranty and would not start. Had to be towed to service center. battery was charged and I was sent home. Next day car wouldn't start. Car was brought back to dealer and I was given a lo towed to service center. battery was charged and I was sent home. Next day car wouldn't start. Don Spann went out of his way to make my car purchase experience a good one. I didn't expect to buy a car when I visited, mainly because I had had so many bad experiences with other dealers, but Don ch experience a good one. He was very respectful, thorough and interested in what I wanted. He even drove up to Albany, NY state to get my new Hyundai. I strongly recommend him for your next new car purchase. I also was very impressed with the good coordination between sales and financing; I didn't think I would want to finance, but they made it worthwhile. They also gave me a good value for my trade-in. Strong marks all around. This was the best new car purchase experience I've ever had. More
I needed a car. I had done my research, so I knew what I wanted, and how much I wanted to spend. Kelvin was a pleasure to deal with. We were able to test drive the three cars we were interested in: Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sorrento, and Chevy Equinox. We loved the Tucson and we already have two older model Tucsons. There was not any hard sale or pressure from Bernard. We feel very lucky to have this dealership that is close to our home. More
We worked with Carlos. He was not only friendly, but educated on the vechicles as well. We couldn't stump him! He told us everything we wanted to know about the truck we were interested in. Debbie, my Service Manager, and the entire Service Department really excel at making sure the service is consistently top-notch. The friendliness, positive attitude and thorough attention to detail is impressive. How many times do folks go to dealerships and share humor while getting good service. Debbie always makes sure to review all actions/checks for service bulletins and always checks to make sure I'm satisfied. Two visits ago I came in for service and before I got there a construction vehicle had dropped a 5 gal paint pail in front me and others on Rt 22. I got some paint in the wheel wells and fenders. What a mess! But the crew chief who accepted my service arrival immediately said let's get this solved -- it was not their fault -- but they did resolve and gave me extra cleaner just in case. The crew in the service department really does love what they do. More
This is our second car from Global, and the reason we returned was Kelvin. He provided an outstanding level of customer service. Went here because of the rave reviews but I could've gotten the same crappy treatment in Staten island. Was looking at Kia and Hyundai. One salesman approached us but didn't speak good english and after a minute of standing near us, retreated to play with his phone. Everyone else just walked back and forth ignoring us. One salesman was loudly bullying a woman into leaving a deposit to keep a potential deal. Lastly we asked someone if they had the new Hyundai Veloster and he pointed us to the Accent Hatchback. That was it for us. More
