He very much has the customer's interests and pocketbook in mind, which is much appreciated. I have had one instance in the past when the vehicle had to be returned because the replacement part installed was defective, but Greg made it a point to get me in right away and arranged for a loaner car, so that I would not miss any further time from work. I will continue to use their service department - this is despite a glaring service mistake on their part. I was getting the first oil change on my new Kia Optima SX (turbo). They put in the wrong oil - 5w-20. The turbo requires 5w-30. This information is not only published in the car's manual, but is also clearly visible on the oil cap. I questioned the service rep on this, who was positive 5w-20 was the right grade and that my car did not need 5w-30. I reluctantly took the car home and confirmed the mistake immediately, both in the manual, oil cap, and through internet research. I made a few calls back to the dealership and they finally got back to me and agreed about the mistake. I brought the car back in, they changed the oil, and Rich offered me free service for my next visit. I appreciated his honesty, and his offer. The car will be fine, but I really hope that this incident struck a chord with them and they will do the obvious service checks and balances. It would be extremely unfortunate if others have been unknowingly receiving the wrong grade of oil. More
