We had to take our vehicle back because they didn’t complete the job. Also, after removing the hub cap they did not reattach it properly and we lost it on the way home. There were no updates while they complete the job. Also, after removing the hub cap they did not reattach it properly and we lost it on the way home. Very professional, completed the job in a good time frame and helped give information on another issue and how to get it fixed. I appreciate their service. and helped give information on another issue and how to get it fixed. I appreciate their service. More
Took 2 weeks to get vehicle back. Little response to my questions about completion date. Would call and leave a message and not get a call back. Little response to my questions about completion date. Would call and leave a message and not get a call back. More
Overall I had a great experience with Carlos but the odd part I didn’t like was my car I bought did not get cleaned up for delivery. I still had dealer stickers inside that I had to remove myself. I’ve never bought a car where the dealer didn’t clean the car for me. This was a great disappointment in my book. Carlos did take it to clean it himself but just a regular wash nothing special that I couldn’t have done myself. More
I feel like the service in this department is not as great as it used to be. Although the customer service is great 95% of the time, (at least in my experiences) this time they didn't check my car in un great as it used to be. Although the customer service is great 95% of the time, (at least in my experiences) this time they didn't check my car in until I called around 2 in the afternoon since I didn't hear anything from them about the issues I am having. I had an appointment at 8 or 8:30 am and I had to bring it overnight since I worked at that check-in time. Not sure how that process works with the overnight drop box, but I called ahead of time to see if that was okay to do so. I do understand there was multiple technicians that called out, but I honestly think they just forgot (which happens). I get it, staffing is an issue in most businesses and no one wants to work, which sucks. Just gotta do the best ya can I suppose with those situations. More
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Gilchrist Chevrolet, and I can confidently say that it has been nothing short of a nightmare. My journey with this dealership turned into a never-end Gilchrist Chevrolet, and I can confidently say that it has been nothing short of a nightmare. My journey with this dealership turned into a never-ending cycle of disappointment, deceit, and broken promises. Trip 1: The Deceptive Start I thought I had struck gold when I found a 2015 Volkswagen GTI listed online at Gilchrist Chevrolet. The car appeared to be exactly what I was looking for, and the salespeople assured me that it had been thoroughly inspected and was ready to go. I took multiple test drives and asked about any potential issues, to which they confidently reassured me that everything was fine. Trip 2: A False Sense of Security I paid a substantial $5000 down payment and completed the paperwork, only to have the car refuse to start right after I left the dealership. This issue persisted, prompting me to take the car back. I was informed that there was a limited 90-day warranty included, which provided little consolation considering the problems I was facing. Trips 3-7: An Endless Cycle of Failed Repairs The following weeks involved multiple trips back and forth to the dealership as the car's issues persisted and worsened. The salesmen and the service team continuously promised fixes, only to have the car break down again shortly after leaving the lot. Texts and calls to the salesmen went unanswered, leaving me in limbo. Trip 8: False Hope and Empty Promises The dealership's sales manager, Will Ketcham, eventually stepped in promising a resolution. He vowed to personally oversee the car's repairs and even guaranteed a 30-day fix. However, these were nothing more than empty words. After multiple delays and a confusing saga, the car was finally returned to me, supposedly fixed. Yet, the very same issue reappeared within hours of leaving the lot. Trip 9: The Breaking Point A meeting was arranged with Will to discuss options, only to be met with further frustration. Despite my dissatisfaction and desire to return the faulty car, Will offered me the choice between a significant loss if I sold it back or paying extra for a vehicle from their inventory. No genuine solutions were presented. Trip 10: The Final Straw After a constant back-and-forth, broken promises, and zero accountability, I returned to Gilchrist Chevrolet in hopes of a resolution. However, I was met with a wall of resistance and a refusal to honor agreements. The sales manager, Will, instead threatened to tow the car away if I left it on their lot, leaving me with no choice but to leave empty-handed. In short, my experience with Gilchrist Chevrolet has been a harrowing ordeal that has left me frustrated, disappointed, and out of thousands of dollars. Their lack of accountability, broken promises, and disregard for customer satisfaction are deeply troubling. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Gilchrist Chevrolet to proceed with extreme caution and consider the numerous red flags that I encountered throughout this ordeal. More
