I have a 2001 GMC Yukon & my horn stopped working. We set an appt. Upon arriving we were told there was a $185 charge for the assessment. None of the $185 applies toward repairs if we proceeded to fix We set an appt. Upon arriving we were told there was a $185 charge for the assessment. None of the $185 applies toward repairs if we proceeded to fix @ the appt. I also asked for a look @ turning off/fixing my ABS light displaying occ (not showing all the time). That also was an additional $185 to assess. I've never been to a mechanic/repair shop that charges such a lg am w/ zero applying to repairs. We proceeded w/ having only the horn assessed. After the assessment it was about $450 additional fee to repair. We were offered a military discount of 10%, which we accepted. With such a large cost to assess things, I could never suggest repairs through this shop. I'm sorry that I've come to this decision. Thank you for offering this survey to me. I hope this policy may be addressed. I can't be the only person disappointed about this fee. More
