UPDATE: I had a great experience working with Bennie who worked very hard with me and his team to figure out what happened and to resolve the issue. I would go back knowing that the GM wants to provide the best experience for their customers. ORIGINAL POST: Very bad experience with dishonest service. I took my Outback to get serviced and was informed that I needed my rear brake pads replaced for $494. I informed them that they were replaced at Germain 20k miles ago and the response was, "Oh I didn't look at the history but I will check with the tech." After checking with the tech he said that my brake pads were at 4mm even though the inspection sheet indicated that they were above 5mm and that they only recommend replacement at 3mm. My question is why would they tell me I needed to replace when I was above their 3mm threshold? I talked with the manager and he told me that this is a known issue (up-selling) that he is trying to address. It's horrible that a business that people NEED to trust are out scamming people at a time when so many people are out of the job. If you must go here, be vigilent and ask questions. More

Larry, my salesman here, was intelligent about the brand and answered all of my questions friendly and expertly and even brought up things I hadn’t thought about. The informative approach was a nice change from the high-pressure sales that had me on edge from other dealerships. I appreciated that so much. And even when an accidental internet blast went out to all dealerships in town when looking for info on the internet, when and I got some hilariously generated “I can beat that deal” automatic responses with no follow-up, (haha!) I didn’t hesitate in buying my Subaru from this dealership one bit. (Although, I would watch out for the finance guy selling you into anything. He did me. He’s really good.) Overall though - love my new Subaru! and loved the experience. I look forward to continuing a relationship with this dealership too. I think they get it. At least for now. I’ll be back to update this if they don’t. 😉👌 More

All of my questions were answered quickly and professionally, and I did not feel pressured into making a quick decision. Patrick was my salesperson, and he presented me with all of the options that were in my budget. Once my decision was made, the finance department was very efficient in getting the paperwork done so that the car was mine. I love my new Forester. More

Tim, the sales consultant, rode along on my test drive and answered every question I had about my new Subaru Forester as well as teaching me a few key differences Subaru provides over other manufacturers. Great stuff! Tim was very helpful with setting up my account with Hatfield and making sure I had the accessories I was looking for on the vehicle. I would recommend asking for Tim when you plan your visit to Hatfield! After finalizing my decision, I was handed off to their Finance Manager, Frank, who is a master at all things numbers, of course. He explained every step of securing my financing so I could feel cool, collected, comfortable and confident by the time I walked out of the door with my new Forester! The team at Hatfield really makes you feel at home. Stop in and see if a Subie is right for you! More

The Service Department, starting with the Service Supervisor, Ms. Ilene Brooks, and her Team Leader, Emma Wright, as well as all of the Technicians, and additional Staff, are THE most conscientious, knowledgeable, friendly, intelligent, highly-skilled, and superb team to have as your team. The quality of the work is superb. Their individual and combined level of ability is excellent. Do not waste any time with going to anywhere else for all of your Subaru needs. Best of all they listen with the result being the best they offer. Yeah! More

Good Experience - over all Our Impreza was recalled for a manufacturing problem with the valve springs. Hatfield was very accomodating and tried to get it in and out as soon as Our Impreza was recalled for a manufacturing problem with the valve springs. Hatfield was very accomodating and tried to get it in and out as soon as possible. The return date was delayed due to a very specific tool needed to perform the repair. Since they only had one of this tool my repair was slowed. I also got the spark plugs replaced while in for this service at a reduced rate of only the cost of the plugs - nice. My only concern is that the mileage after these repairs has dropped over 5mpg! I have not taken any longer trips since the repair and want to do so before any further check on possible reasons (usually new plugs helps mileage). More
